Room is spacious with nice balcony. Plants are everywhere in apartment and room. Breakfast had several varieties. Susane was very nice to us. Location is good as the bus and tram stations are few meters away but walking to the city center would take 20 minutes. Bathroom always clean. Kitchen equipped with a fridge, an oven plus coffee and tea....

Positive points: Breakfast is good The room is comfortable. Negative points: - Susanne was very rude and picky ex: why did you leave the lights on? Why did you keep some food in your plates? (early morning was giving us a lecture!!) Moreover, she took extra 10 euro, because we paid in Euro currency! - The location was far from...

Reasonable prices and Ms. Seiler gives a very thorough and comprehensive suggestions for how to get around Zurich and what attractions are available. As it the bus service in the area in quite good. My room was small but adequate with a desk for my computer. It is quiet in the B&B in the evening and at night and so...

Most moody and temperamental service. Don't go! We clearly had emailed we will be there after 3 pm. When we arrived at 3:30 pm in heavy rain she refused to let us in saying she has been waiting for 1.5 hrs for us to check-in. We tried to explain she had misunderstood our email and also pleaded our helplessness that...

It seems incomprehensible to me how guests expect low prices but the same service as when they are staying at costly hotels. We make it very clear to our guests that they need to make an appointment. Switzerland is the kind of place where there is a restaurant on every corner. You cannot tell me you can't come at the...

Just what I was looking for. A clean, tidy place in town for a reasonable price. The host is a nice, friendly lady and breakfast was lovely. I'm unsure if I will be visiting Zurich again but it is possible and the first thing I will do is look up Dakini for vacancies.

I have just spent four days working in Zurich, staying at Dakini's. The whole place was scrupulously clean. Breakfast was excellent with a selection of breads, cheese, meat and fruit. There was cereal and yoghurt and great coffee. Just right to start the day!. Having the fully equipped kitchen was very useful for making drinks later in the day and...

Starting with the good things: good price for Zurich standards; very good, healthy regional breakfast; cleanliness, comfortable bed. Cons: distasteful, even creepy room decor (we had the Orange room), with psychedelic and eclectic buddhist motifs on the furniture and pictures hanging in the room and corridor. On a couple of reviews here I've stumbled upon a comment about the owner's...

On paper this place is really good - clean, well equipped kitchen, helpful host, quaint rooms, fairly quiet, easy transport to city. The breakfast is very good. However, I just didn't feel comfortable here. That might have been partly because I was just off a long flight and quite jet lagged, but I felt like I was a guest in...

Hello! I'd recommend this place based on the location, price, and cleanliness - however I was very disappointed in the service. I arrived at 6pm, and Sussane was nice at first, she greeted me, got my info, and helped me to my room. My reservation said I was allowed to check out by 12:00, but I had plans for my...

“Rooms at the back are quieter and have less sunlight. Ask for the blue room - it is very small but quiet. The yellow room is much larger, but has road noise.”

“I was on the top floor and saw all three rooms there. If you just want a bed, each of the rooms is fine. But the ones with the balcony is definitely the nicest and largest. (The single room is very tiny but quiet and comfortable)”
