This is the second time my wife and I stayed at Route 39 (Paris room) and we were not disappointed. It's a very convenient location, rooms are clean and priced appropriately. I can't thank Thomas enough for accomodating our early morning flight from the states and allowing us to check in the am. Highly recommend staying here!! We will return....

This place is off the beaten path. This is both a positive and a negative. The positive is that is in a quiet neighbourhood. It's not difficult to find nor is it difficult to get to via bus/tram/metro. The negative is that it does take some time to get to downtown and therefore it's not easy to get back to... More

Unique rooms and bathrooms. The bathrooms were shared between two couples, but we were family (two brothers and their wives). A third room does offer a private bathroom and shower. The hotel, all room and bath are very clean. Price was 115SF per room per night. The B&B provided laundry service for a small fee. The B&B is a short... More

You couldn't find a better place to stay in Zurich. My parents and me felt totally at home. We received excellent service, totally enjoyed the cool design of the B&B from the breakfast area to the rooms and don't even get me started on the bathrooms. Floors were heated, you could enjoy a beautiful evening or morning on the balcony... More

We stayed at Route 39 for two nights in April. The prices were extremely competitive given the ridiculous cost of staying in downtown Zurich. Although the hotel is outside the city center, the tram stop is a 5-minute walk away (or you could take a bus to the tram stop but, really, it's very easy to walk). The hosts were... More

We stayed in Route 39 on our last night of our holiday. We used it purely as a nights accommodation before heading for the airport early the next morning. It was a fantastic way to end the holiday. Sven was extremely helpful organizing our dinner reservations and taxis to the airport and the restaurant. The beds were so comfortable and... More

Excellent selection for a reasonable price. We have spent a w/e in Zurich and had a car. B&B was totally refurbished, clean and full of every comfort. The owner does not bother too much to talk with his guests which is not necessarily a negative thing. Breakfast is served in the top floor in a very nice kitchen which makes... More

If you wish to be in the center of where it all happens in Zurich, then this is not the right place for you. Otherwise I can only recommend it. You have two tram lines to choose from if you want to go the city centre. Supermarket and restaurants are not too far. The only thing missing in the room... More

First the positives: The decor of this B&B is very crisp and modern, everything is brand new and spotless. It's clear that this house was gutted and renovated top to bottom. We had the room with a private bathroom and it was pretty spacious by European standards. Bathroom had a large tab, double sinks and big counter where we could... More

What a jewel of a find. This very charming and comfortable B&B is located a short ride from downtown Zurich. The rooms were very charming (modern decor), spotless and very comfotable. The owners were extremely accomodating and helpful with our travel needs. We have recommended them to our family and friends and expect to return in the near future.

“My parents stayed in the room Paris which has it's own bathroom with double sinks and a bathtub. It was also located on the south side towards the river with lots of light. I stayed myself in room Berlin which was also fantastic with the bathroom just across the corridor. Very convenient and it didn't bother me in the least bit not to have my own bathroom.”
