I have stayed at the Widder Hotel many times in the past few years. I have also stayed at other high end luxury hotels throughout Europe. The Widder is still the best hotel I have ever stayed at! The service is exceptional, the rooms are large and incredibly well furnished, the hotel is an outstanding Boutique Hotel! Expensive but worth...

Spent a night here on business. Even with a corporate rate it was expensive. Service exceptional. Rooms spotless. Mix of old and new not totally to my taste. Overall a bit soulless for a supposed 'boutique' hotel.

I stayed here for business and held a conference in one of their rooms. Everything was absolutely exceptional. The staff are friendly, helpful and interested in doing their jobs well. The hotel is clean and beautiful. The rooms are superb, comfortable, clean and quiet. I would go into details but every detail I came across was perfect so hard to...

It is expensive for what you get. Location is ideal for shopping and touring.Reception and concierge are helpful and cheerful . The room I stayed in was noisy because it was on top of one of their resturants.

We really enjoyed our one night stay at the Widder. This is a very lovely place mixing both modern design and the old building charming beams and wall paintings. The highly cosy rooms provide exceptional comfort, absolute silence although you are in the old town center which is very touristic. We had no opportunity to experiment more about the service...

We very much loved our stay at this property. It is centrally located -- an easy walk to the main train station, the charming old town and shopping areas, and Lake Zurich. Check-in was efficient and we appreciated the quick tour of the property as we were escorted to our room. We loved the beautiful library -- a great place...

This is an amazing hotel. Every detail of our stay was perfect. The staff are so professional and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. The rooms are all different and of the two we saw they are of a very high standard, linens, bathrooms, Matress, technology 1st class. The concierge was really helpful and recommended restaurants to suit our...

This beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Zurich is made up of 9 beautifully restored medieval townhouses that have been combined into making one hotel. The result is that no single room is the same and every one has its own story to tell. The location could not be better. A stones throw from the Bahnhofstrasse with a wealth...

I stayed in room 401 which had beautiful beams. The bed was very comfortable with good lighting. It was too warm because the duvet was either duck or goose feather. The other problem was I did not sleep well as I was kept awake by the church bells that rang on the hour and on the half hour throughout the...

This is definitely the best hotel in Zurich. From the attentive service to the great facilities to the huge rooms to the fascinating history (nine townhouses lovingly restored to individual high spec) it really can't be recommended highly enough. It is SERIOUSLY expensive but that's the premise!
