This hotel is in the perfect location, the rooms are very good size and the bathroom was so clean! The best thing about the hotel was the staff members. They were ever so helpful and went out their way to help us. Shout out to Kadir Alp who was so so helpful and helped us with all our queries during check in. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zurich. The location is also another plus as many trams stop right outside. Thanks to the staff and Kadir for making it such a memorable stay!

My standard room was really tiny and depressing. The bed was not comfortable, there was only one lumpy pillow, there was one thin towel with a stain, a tiny shower and the whole thing was very dark and cold (even with the radiator on full blast in October). I booked directly with the hotel but my "special rate of 129 CHF" didn't come with breakfast even though it's pretty much the norm in Zurich. The hotel has an okay location but you can do really better and get something right downtown at this price. And if you want a real 4 star hotel you definitely better go somewhere else.

We arrived at the hotel Krone after a 5 hour drive to found that our reservation through Trip.com had been cancelled due to a failure of that website. The young lady at the desk was very kind and helpful and gave us a room at an equivalent price. Maybe due to Covid, she was alone on duty Saturday night, but she was efficient and helped us as well as a constant stream of other guests. The room she gave us was comfortable and impeccably clean as you would expect from a Swiss 4 star hotel. A short tram ride from the center.

The location is really good; easy accessible with Tram or even by foot from the main station. The single room was really small and directly opposite the elevator, but the normal double room was Ok and cosy. As I did not have breakfast or any other meal in the hotel, I can only state the experience from friends who say that they can really recommend both (= breakfast & the restaurant for dinner)!

The hotel is well located within Zurich, easy and convenient access to city center. The family rooms in 1st floor are just OK, they are also meeting rooms so beds fold I to walls which means mattresses are not as usually comfortable. They charge for the extra bed even when I reserved 2 rooms for a family of 5 which I find unacceptable. Safety measures and a very friendly staff at reception and restaurant. Although they seem not able to make decisions (extra bed charge). Overall good stay.

We visited Zürich for five days and we had a lovely staying at Hotel Krone Unterstrass for four nights. - Clean Hotel. - Very friendly staff who have helped us a lot by advising on restaurants, bars, daytrips from Zurich and train timetables. - Excellent location with a tram stop just outside the hotel’s entrance and it’s only 5 minutes far from Zurich’s Central Station. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! :)

I stayed at Hotel Krone Unterstrass for multiple times now. They were always very friendly and hospitable. Since the last time the hotel was newly renovated and it got even better now! It's located near the city center and has very reasonable prices. Their restaurant makes the best tartar I've ever had. I higly recommend it to everyone!

We went there for a bachelor's party with a group of 9. They were very professionel and extremely friendly and forthcomming to our requests. They have the best restaurant when it comes to Tatar! Really delicious and they deliver wonderful customer service. We felt very welcomed and taken care of.
