this hotel was fabulous from start to finish - the beds are so comfortable, cocktails delicious, vegan food options thoughtful, the park behind has spectacular and quiet space for reflection and to just chill. the location was so quiet that i could not believe being so close to the airport that it was truly a park like setting and peaceful
I had a short 2 days stay and had 3 meeting to conduct during the stay. Although the club lounge was not operational the breakfast downstairs was excellent. I was able to use the club lounge for the meetings. It would be great if they had an ice machine on the club floor...atleast I did not see one. The staff, cleanliness and amenities are very good. The hotel is quiet also considering proximity to the airport. Overall, this property is good. Being a Hyatt Globalist I see many properties around the world and this one is in my top 10 so far.
I travel quite a bit for work and this hotel was just one of the best experiences I have had. Perfect pillows, great silence at night, blinds that shut out the light completely, amazing breakfast, helpful staff. It is conveniently located close to the airport, but of course that location means it is not exactly your "beautiful views" kind of hotel :) In that way it is very business minded. But that also has some big up's!
I enjoyed my interaction with the staff at every point of my stay, and I enjoyed the physical amenities at the hotel. It is a convenient location and the friendliness made me feel welcome and eager to return. It is easy to get a good night's rest, even with a stressful business trip.
Very accommodating staff that helped update my reservation last minute with no issues. The hotel itself is very nice and clean, beautiful interior and relaxing way to spend an evening before a long flight home.
During our stay in July 2022, everything was at its best. The hotel seemed very new, the staff was very friendly and dedicated. The rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely furnished. It is easy to walk in a few minutes to airport terminal. Despite the building is close to the airport, there is a nice park right by the hotel.
The Hotel is very nice. The staff is excellent. Just a few minutes from the check-in area of the airport and an easy train ride from the city center. I was there for a company meeting. The meeting facilities of the hotel are great and the catering during the meeting was excellent as well. The rooms are spacious and have a modern elegant style.
It pays to check the prices as there are two Hyatts in The Circle development at Zurich's airport. One is a full-service Hyatt Regency and another is a limited-service Hyatt Place. Originally, I was going to stay at the Hyatt Place but then I searched the prices. Rates at the Hyatt Regency were a much better value as a guest with globalist elite status in Hyatt's World of Hyatt loyalty program. That's because I was entitled to a suite upgrade, club lounge access, and free breakfast. The slightly more expensive (on cash and points) Hyatt Regency is more than worth the extra expense if you are eligible for those benefits. For those without globalist status, consider buying a room with club lounge access. The Hyatt Regency itself is about 2 years old. For the most part, the hotel still looks and feels fresh. There is, however, some wear-and-tear that is quite visible. Specifically, carpeting in public spaces like hallways is highly stained. Walls in some places have significant scratches and marks. There was no bellman or doorman at either the ground floor entrance or the lobby to assist with luggage. Instead, the doorman is doing double duty as club lounge attendant at night. World of Hyatt globalists and Regency Club guests do not get a club lounge check-in, as is done at other properties. That's partly because there is no dedicated club lounge attendant staffing the lounge. I was never addressed by name, greeted or thanked by name at check-in by the Front Desk. I still had to complete all the formalities of check-in, despite having already checked in online through Hyatt. What's the point of online check-in? No pre-arrival email was sent. I also didn't receive a welcome letter at check-in detailing any amenities or services. I was upgraded to a suite on the 5th floor. All categories of premium rooms and suites were available. While I appreciated the suite, I would rather have had a room or suite on the 9th floor, which is where the club lounge is located. Going back and forth is a hassle. The suite itself was comfortable and well-appointed. Most importantly, it was immaculately clean. However, there were some issues with the design. Someone stupidly designed the suite without a desk. What idiot thought designing a suite without a desk was a good idea? The only table is a small kitchen-style table that has no outlets. You also can't watch the wall-mounted television from the table because of its location. USB outlets were few and far between. The location of electrical outlets are not very accessible. Despite being an American-based international chain, the rooms did not have US or UK electrical outlets. There also were any electrical outlets power strips to account for the inaccessible outlets. I couldn't use my standard continental European electrical adaptors because of the way the outlets were designed. I had to get a special adaptor from the hotel. As a result, I could only charge one device. Three other devices couldn't be charged. The hotel design also incorporates fancy light controls. The problem is at night in the dark you can't just reach over from bed and hit a switch to turn on lights. There are too many buttons and the buttons are all black. Who was the idiot who thought this was a good idea? The mini-bar was stocked, I had both a coffee machine and a tea kettle, robes and slippers were placed in the bathroom, and the usual toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) in mini-bottles and not dispensers were present. The only things missing were mouthwash, a dental kit, and shaving kit. Supposedly, food via room service was available but I couldn't find a menu anywhere in the room. While I didn't get a pre-arrival email or welcome letter, there was a handwritten notecard in my suite that was personally addressed to me and signed by staff. That was nice. No amenity was delivered. The club lounge is a gorgeous space on the 9th floor complete with an outdoor terrace. Jan, the bellman who also works as a club lounge attendant, does an excellent job. He used to be a Swiss flight attendant. The service is like a first-class airline lounge. Breakfast is served in the morning and then at night drinks and food are served from 6 to 8 pm. The drinks consist of water, Coke, Coke Zero, juices, beer, spirits, two red wines (both Swiss), one white wine (Swiss), and a cheap Italian sparkling wine. The two red wines, one a blend of Swiss red and the other a Swiss pinot noir, were very good. The white wine, a blend of Swiss white, was cheap. The Italian sparkling wine was also very cheap. It would have been nice to have a quality German, Austrian or Swiss white and/or sparkling wine. The food was a little limited. Think beef, lamb and maybe turkey or pork appetizers with smoked salmon, breads, cheese, and humus. The quality was very good. If you didn't have dinner plans, it could be a dinner. I would have liked to have some more food at night as well as an earlier start of 5 pm. Between breakfast and 6 pm, coffee, tea, soft drinks and some cookies are available. That's it. I didn't see a concierge. Also, the club lounge isn't staffed outside breakfast and evening drinks/food. There also wasn't any local information, magazines or newspapers provided. I asked for a newspaper and was told they didn't have any. All things considered, the Hyatt Regency is a very good hotel that still looks and feels new. The location is unbeatable (maybe 2 minutes by foot to the terminal). The standard while very high is short of 5 stars. It is a solid 4-star business hotel.…
Convenient location if you need to get to the airport fast. There's a supermarket, eateries and a stores within a walking distance. Breakfast was enjoyable. My room had a view of a building next to it, so close that I pretty much left the curtain drawn at all times because I can see clearly into another building's rooms and vice versa. The hotel doesn't offer a regular 5-star service like a porter service. The World of Hyatt counter also works like a regular counter where people are in 1 queue for all counters. Actually, I received a faster service at a regular counter. There was also a false fire alarm in the middle of the night with close-to-none communication from the hotel regarding what happened, what was being done or when we could return back in the hotel/back to our room, etc. Guests actually asked around and then walked around to inform other guests. Overall, if you just need a place to sleep, don't care whether your get a standard 5-star or loyal program service and want to be able to walk to the airport, I'd recommend this hotel.…
Modern, new and convenient located hotel at the new The Circle área at Zürich Airport. Not easy to find due to the lack of signings. Most luxurious hotel you can find within walking distance from the airport terminals.
