Everything about the Storchen Hotel was great. Large, stylish and comfortable room overlooking the river. Sunday brunch was delicious and there was no rush to finish the meal. Roof top bar offered opportunity to see the city and listen to the church bells. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The Storchen is a wonderful hotel, located in central Zürich near all of the major sites. The staff is welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is remarkable. We will definitely be back. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable.
I loved my stay at the Storchen Zurich! It's such a beautiful hotel with a very professional and friendly staff. I could not have been happier with the hotel, room, view, location and amenities. I would definitely stay here again!
One of the finest hotels in all of Europe. Not stuffy, elegant. The staff was engaging and professional. The Nest, rooftop bar, has the best view in town. Location was perfect. Terrace breakfast a must.
We stayed one night after a concert in Zurich with a stunning view over the Limmat and a perfect service package by the employees. The breakfast was perfect too and we felt all the time very confortable.
The Storchen is in a great location. Many of the rooms face the river or the lake, and you are walking distance to everything in the old city. The hotel rooms are fantastic. They have air conditioning that works well, and blackout shutters that work remotely. They shut out noise and light, and we slept so well. As guests of the hotel, you have priority in getting seated at the Nest, the rooftop bar/restaurant. Even if you are just going for a drink, the view is worth it. You can see all of Zurich from there, and they have a good cocktail menu and wine/beer selection. The staff was extremely friendly, giving us maps and suggestions for what to see in Zurich. We had read the guidebooks, but the staff pointed out some great things like the round trip down the river to the lake and the museum. The hotel itself has a stop, so you can start from just outside the lobby. The breakfast is on a balcony overlooking the river, and we really enjoyed that. They had a selection of international newspapers available and a buffet with a lot of choices. In the evening, it becomes a Michelin-starred restaurant. The hotel got us a reservation, and we were able to sit outside and watch the sunset and enjoy the breeze coming off the water. Everything was clean, and the housekeeping staff was very attentive, somehow knowing right when we left and cleaning quickly. The turn down service was nice as well, leaving us each a chocolate every night. The hotel is a bit far from the train station, so I would take a cab from the airport or train station. The route is tricky, with some surprising hills, stairs and cobblestones to challenge roller suitcases. …
Fancy a coffee in a beautiful setting? Then Storchen is a must, to take in the view of the Limmat and Grossmünster. Service is a level of its own and it’s a nice break while sightseeing. Just wished they would have had more comfy chairs and not bar stools.
The location of the hotel is very beautiful. And the staff of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. The view of the hotel is very beautiful and the shopping centre is very close. There are so many restaurants and cafés close to this hotel
Everyone was excellent and helped me from beginning to end. I am an American in a foreign country but they were awesome and treated me with great respect. The location of the property is ideal and it was easy to get around the area to visit attractions. The hotel was clean and we enjoyed our stay.
