The hotel has very ideal location- walking distance from the old town and main spots in Zurich. The team at the front desk are very accommodating, kudos to Andrin and the Lady at morning shift (whom I forgot the name). Andrin executed an excellent service in assisting us and accommodating it - THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

So glad to have found Hotel Bristol! We planned to stay just one night after a long trip, thinking we would find better accommodations once in town . After the best sleep ever we decided to stay for our entire trip. Hotel Bristol is all you need. Immaculately clean, tucked away on a quiet side street, and so close to town center and trains. The location cannot be beat, breakfast offerings are more than sufficient, and the beds are SO comfortable! The front desk team is incredibly kind and helpful, and made staying here a delight! In an incredible place like Zurich, you are surrounded by cafes, museums, public spaces and restaurants. You do not need to waste your money on a hotel room any larger than necessary. We will be back! We stayed in room 402 and are sad to be leaving on Wednesday. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff members we met at Hotel Bristol!

The hotel is walking distance to the main train station where you can also go for cheaper food option. The rooms were sufficient and the reception staff were friendly. Sadly, I can't say the same with the breakfast staff. 2 mornings we had breakfast and the female and male staff were both unfriendly and never smiled. Not a good first thing in the morning welcome. Other than that, this hotel is practical for travellers going around Switzerland by train

Hi, the hotel location is very good near the downtown. It is a small and basic but clean hotel, the staff behavior is generally good and friendly. I was there in Jan but the room was really warm and the water in bathroom was always hot which is very good. It is ideal for short business trip in my opinion because it is far from any entertainment and luxurious stuffs. the only problem for me was that the rooms haven't got safe.

I stayed at the Hotel Bristol for four nights in Sept 2023. My experience was great - very convenient for the station and old town. Room was comfortable and bathroom ok. Breakfast was fairly basic but quite adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again in future.

Very happy with our choice to stay here. It was hard to find a hotel that could sleep four people in one room. Our room was huge! A king bed in the main area with a desk, tv, and fridge and the side area nook with 2 twin beds was perfect for our teens. The shower also had a deep tub, was clean, and we also had a huge patio that we could eat lunch on. Great neighborhood. Quick walk to the train station, old town, and up the hill to the university. Front desk staff was friendly.

Stayed one night here when on business in Zurich. My room was a big family room so massive for me travelling solo. The en suite bathroom was a bit tired, and there was black mould on the tiles and on the liquid soap dispenser, (See photos). The bed was a bit too soft for me, and there was no view from the room as it was on the 5th floor and the only windows were set in the sloped ceiling. I asked for a 12 noon checkout, (just 30 minutes later than the standard 11:30am check out time), and was told no as they were too busy. I stay at about 40 hotels a year and have never had a 30-minute check out extension refused before... In short, this hotel was okay for one night, but I'd not want to stay here longer than that. It lacked any real charm or character and I'd not stay here again.

The Hotel was acceptable, given the cost. Room was clean, bathroom was a little dirty but not totally bad. I checked in late after a day's travel, and the lady on reception was really nice and accommodating. She is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast however was a whole other experience. It runs from 6.30am - 10am. The food itself is bland and basic, you can get better breakfast heading over to the nearest COOP. The one thing that completely threw me however, was the host. I got there at 9.30am (I was solo and travelling for work), and she told me I would need to hurry up as she wanted to close and I was late. The advertised timing for breakfast was 10am. I had a coffee and crossiant and was gone by 9.45am. The host there needs to check their attitude. Really weird. If you want to somewhere just to sleep - this is your place, otherwise, go elswhere.

We had booked this hotel for one night, well in advance of our trip, being an extra night in Zurich, on the basis that it was the starting hotel for our organised tour. On starting the tour, we found out that it was not. Still, that was okay, as we only had one night there. (The actual starting hotel was preferred.) The Hotel is modern, reasonably well located, being a 10 - 15 minute walk from Zurich HB, the main train station and close enough to the restaurant area. Staff at reception were helpful and efficient. The room we were allocated was smallish, but poorly designed with angled ceilings - duck! There was no fridge, but the air con was good and windows soundproof. The breakfast room opened early which suited us, having to catch an early train to Rome. While we had to rush breakfast due to our timetable, it seemed to be quite a reasonable spread. Hot and cold drinks were available in the foyer, at a cost. For a one night stay it was fine.

This hotel is well situated, just a couple of blocks from the main train station, and in the old city (where you need to be). Rooms are comfortable, and staff is friendly. Only negative is that the AC units are unusable (they shut them down), they said to save energy when its “cool” outside (it was in the 60s and upper 70s); and you need to sleep with the window opened, and its a busy street. They give you a fan thats your only help besides the window.
