Room It is quite a small room size but sufficient for a single traveller. Location If it was in the airport, room size would have been acceptable even for 2 pax. But the hotel is at least 20 mins away by car from the airport. Would be lovely if they can drop off that “Zurich Airport” in the hotel name as it is terribly misleading. There are so many other hotels around the area (which didn’t advertise themselves as part of Airport) which I didnt get to consider when booking because I thought that this was right beside the airport. Moreover, there are other hotels which are nearer to the train station. Service It’s a hit or miss. Some of the reception crew can be nice and helpful. The lady at the breakfast area wasn’t exactly accommodating or friendly. I also sent an email inquiry 2-3 says before check-in and nobody has replied. Breakfast The spread had a good variety. Follow the sign to the hotels from Rümlang station. It is a short walk to the main road, where you turn right and continue down. You can't miss it. There are a few international brand hotels in the area with a supermarket, McD, and Subway. I picked this hotel to be close to the airport and the city. Zurich HB is only a 15 minute ride away while bus 510 leaves just south of the hotel next to the Migros/gas station and takes about 10 minutes to reach the airport. The hotel looks new and the room is spacious and tidy. The windows keep the airplane noise out very well. It would've been a perfect 5/5 had it not been the very low shower water pressure, which seemed odd since the smaller hotels I stayed in the mountain towns didn't have this problem at all.

Check in was seamless, Hotel staff was competent, rooms were unique, quiet, and comfortable. It’s a quick ride to the airport. But to ride from the airport to hotel cost about 6 Francs. Riding from Hotel to airport in a free. The elevator Bo pens on both sides. So if it’s a crowd in front just goto back of elevator because there are usually no people at the back.

Everything very nice, espec. the rates compared to other Hotels in that category. With Uber you are in 20 min. and 35 $ downtown...Breakfast is very OK, very clean rooms - although very close to airport not noisy at all.

we were placed in this hotel due to a flight cancellation. the room and service are good, but the food offered (for 20 chf) is a awful, at least water (9.50 chf), salad and bread could be included in the price. is this what swiss hospitality is like?

We stayed for one night before our flight out of Zurich. It's located about 10-15 min walk from the Rümlang train station. There are not a lot of food options nearby. We only saw Mc Donald's and Subway. The on-site restaurant was good, but the menu was limited. We stayed in a family room, which was basically two connecting rooms, one with a double bed and one with two twin beds. The rooms were modern and had great showers, great blackout blinds/curtains, very comfortable beds, and supportive pillows. They offer scheduled shuttle to the airport for 6 CHF per person, but it was cheaper and more convenient for us to call an Uber.

Highly recommend! The guy who checked me in was very polite and nice. I love the beds and so worth the value for an overnight airport stay. Wish all airport hotels were like this. Hallways and rooms smell clean and new without use of chemicals since it’s so new. Definitely recommend.

This hotel looks nice and open and welcome but after a looooooooooong waiting time, the admin at the front desk makes you forget all the positive before. I booked friends into the hotel and regretted it big time. Will never ever book anyone anymore in this hotel but rather pay more for another place. Front desk speaks English, no German, cannot do multitasking and does not understand a standard sentence. I then broke down my questions and got told that if I keep on talking this way, she will not talk to me anymore. Good luck with this attitude.

Quite long waiting times for check-in and getting in touch with front desk. First shuttle is 05.00, my flight was 06.00 so had to take a taxi for 40 Euros to get to the airport. Took 5 minutes, ridiculous price and one reason to stay in an airport hotel is to not having to pay that money. Room okay.
