After an web research about this hotel, I wasn't shure if I should go there, 'cause there are some bad coments. But I've accepted "the risk" and I'm happy for this. The LOCATION was great (3minutes from mainstation, 5minutes to lake, 2minutes to the "famous" mainstation street, 0minutes to old town, 0minutes to river, 1 minute to 24 hour food,...

Good Location but it is a bad hotel. Spacious room but dirty.. No toilets on the same floor even!! Dirty shower, and showerhead was broken. Smells of cigarettes everywhere. Although cheap in Zurich, it is worth spending more.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This place is absolutely ridiculous. It was so bad, that I made a dash back to the train station to meet someone in the visitor's office to book a different hotel ...what did the representative tell me? THEY REFUSE TO SEND ANYONE THERE!!!! No toilets in the room, cracked windows, absolutely disgusting. I rather sleep on...

What a dive, too much to say about this place. May I start with saying, no parking. I had to pay 40 dollars a night a half mile away to park. The rooms were a good size, no amenities. The bathrooms were shared and mold like you would not believe. Shower doors would not close all the way as well....

Ok, first let me say that the location can't be beat. It is a close walk to the train station and the hotel is directly on the river. And it was very inexpensive. And it seemed to be safe. I have nothing else positive to say about this hotel. I am not a hotel snob, but the room smelled badly...

This place has an excellent location near the old part of Zurich, but the room here was the blandest on my trip to Switzerland. For the money, I guess this was expected.

Wow... this hotel was so much cheaper than all the rest in Zurich - even the hostels. I wasn't sure what to expect. But we were pleasantly surprised. The bathrooms are shared, but much nicer than most you would find in hostels. The beds were honestly the most comfortable that I slept on throughout my whole 6 week European vacation....

As I arrived to Zürich the first thing that realy surprised me were the Hotel prices...very expensive and most of the hotels are 4 or 5 stars hotels with prices over 300 SFR/Night. I found Hotel krone when i went to the tourism office and told...

Sure this place is cheap and has a good location. But its also terrifically noisy and the curtains don't block the light out at all. The first time I stayed here was thanks to the tourist office, the room had a good size but the fridge was so disgusting. It was not working and there were so many stains (i...
