Really pleasant hostel. The staff were very friendly and they sell victornox knives at very reasonable prices. There are kitchens and bathrooms on each level of the hostel which was very convenient. it seems expensive, but all of Zurich is.. so the price point is actually pretty cheap in comparison. Although, there are not power outlets by the beds which...

We initially booked a 6 bed female dorm but were upgraded to a 4 bed one. The hostel is simple to find and is only a 10 minute walk from Zurich HB. You have to walk up quite a few flights of stairs to get to reception but this is all part and parcel of staying in old town. The...

Probably the cheapest place you'd find in Zurich. Very good for backpackers. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms were clean and tidy. The staff was extremely helpful. Got some great recos too. You pay a small amount for sheets and towels though. Overall very good experience.

The location is handy enough alright. The rooms felt somewhat claustrophobic so small they were. Bathrooms clean and private enough. Staff was helpful and friendly and the common area is interesting. It is on the 4th floor and there are no lifts in the building.

This was by far the most average backpacker hostel in Switzerland (amongst the lot we stayed in namely Geneva, Interlaken, Lucerne and St.Moritz - youth hostel). As it was the last hostel in our swiss trip, so we did not mind but remember climbing quite a few stairs to reach and especially if you have heavy luggage with you then...

The location of the hotel is perfect for a tourist. It is near to the tram stoppage, lake Zurich and the party area in the old city town. 4-5 minutes walking distance from the Zurich trains station. Rooms are bit small for total number of people staying at night. The cleanliness is okay as per the rent. And the rent...

The hostel is located at the 4th floor of building without elevator, hence, the title. But the location of the hostel is just around a block or two from the center. So the location is really amazing. The beds are okay but you have to rent your cover, pillow case, and towel. Check in and out are swift as in...

Stayed 2 nights in the city backpacker last month. Very friendly staff. She gave me a pack of chocolate because that day was my birthday! Sharing a room with 5 other girls from Japan, UK, Canada, New Zealand and US. There's a sink in our room which makes it easier for the morning. But one thing, remember to bring your...

Location was very good for the price i paid. There is a kitchen on every floor which is convenient. Rooms however are very small, lockers are teeny tiny and can barely fit anything so i had to keep my luggage on my top bunk bed which made sleep a bit uncomfortable. Zurich does not do the city tax thing (which...

The first thing you notice as you arrive at this place with your luggage is that there is no elevator, hence you have to carry your luggage 3-4 floors upstairs. Overall an OK place though the surrounding streets are noisy. Self service Kitchen needs improvement. Friendly staff.
