We’ve spent in total 12 nights in the hotel, and it was a wonderful place to be: - the staff is extremely friendly and helpful - you can come with literally any request and they find a solution. We had to stay in the hotel 2 nights longer and got this opportunity, despite hotel was really sold out. - the location of the hotel is a dream: in the center of the city, with walking distance to all central places (or there is a tram near by if you have issues walking 10-15 mins), but at the same time street is quiet, with very little transport. I prefer central locations but don’t like crowds of people going in front of the hotel - location for us was just perfect! - We found amazing place just near by the hotel with wonderful view and benches - where you can sit and just enjoy - please see the photo) - the breakfast in the hotel was very good: served with local products, for different taste - eggs (you can make freshly by your taste), müsli, meat, cheese, vegetables, fruits, yogurts, bread and croissants - the table did not seem very big but everything was replenished very quickly, so you always have a great choice. One separate love is coffee: we enjoyed professionally made cappuccino, that was included into breakfast! - We had a late arrival and worries how to check-in, but before the arrival hotel manager sent me the number of safe deposit and a code. The deposit box is located exactly before the entrance to the hotel, very easy to use - our keys to the room were there (it was in April 2022). So everything is perfectly thought through and well organised! If you still have questions - hotel has a phone you can call at any time. - In the room everything was present, kettle and small coffee-machine, table enough to sit and work with laptop, wardrobe. - What was very unusual from the beginning for me - is having washstand in the room :) but considering hygienic requirements this appeared to be really convenient! - And last but not least thing to mention is the kindness of the Owners, who really understand each individual customer and willing to help and support all your needs.…

Great location nearby ETH-Z and University of Zurich (10 mns walk). Excellent boutique hotel with high quality facilities, a cosy bar (and service with a smile) and an Italian restaurant. We did not try the Italian restaurant, but we had breakfast which offered a nice spread of bread, cheese, dairy and fruits. Will keep this address for future business trips.

The staff has been very helpful, nice and welcoming. The restaurant makes delicious pizzas et breakfast is top 👍🏻 The room was good, beds very comfortable. I would recommend at anytime. We really felt like we are not just customers.

The room was clean and basic, with bed, desk, chair, bathroom etc. However, the room was extremely warm (in November) and as there was no air conditioning I had to have the window open, which was noisy. I also had a problem with my shower, and the hotel 'fixed' this by removing the large rain shower and leaving just the very small hand held one. To be fair, I was offered to change room if I wanted to but as I was not staying for long I chose to keep my existing room. The restaurant at the basement of the hotel was very nice. Overall my stay was fine, but I'm not sure I would stay there a second time.

A great hotel located in a privileged environment, surrounded by a university atmosphere and a stone's throw from the vital center of Zurich. But the best is not this, the best is the charming treatment of all the staff who work there. Truly memorable. The only thing I would change is the range of shower gel and shampoo... :-).

Really nice hotel, centrally located, and well-designed rooms. Not really much to complain about, pros and cons below. Pros: Centrally located, can walk from the central station (it is uphill so maybe get the tram up and walk down), Nice room and large bed (not two mattresses pushd together like a lot of hotels), Water cooker and coffee provided in rooms, Large rooms and large shower, shower has like a pivoting head so nice for those of us who are shorter or taller than average, nice smelling lotion, soap, and shampoo, nice staff, restaurant and breakfast at hotel. Cons: Not really a con for me but the bed is on the floor so if you have trouble with your knees/back, it may be an issue for you, pillows got a bit flat and also I hate feather pillows- they could be fake feathers but pretty sure those are cruel to birds (along with any kind of 'down' except for the vegan alternatives). That's it, mostly all pros! Lovely hotel…

Very friendly service. Great rooms. Good location near the old city. Walk 15 minutes or busstop around the corner Restaurant Kantorei is just a 10 minutes walk away wich you should go for a beer or great food.

Ok hotel. Sad breakfast. Staff and service is transactional, reserved and detached. The restaurant in the evening is with a poor food quality, but ok pizzas :-). Stay far away from the wine. I had a wine served twice that had gone bad. Asking the waiter the second time to taste it, he admitted that he would never drink it, but denied it had gone bad although it was really acid/vinegar in taste and completely brown. I did not order a port opened 4 weeks ago, but a Chianti Sangiovese. They typically don’t taste and look like that. So he was serving a wine he would not drink him self. He even mentioned that he had complained to the management about it, but serves, and charges for it anyway. The draft beer was ok :-D

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a convenient neighborhood. I enjoyed my stay immensely. The upgraded me to a corner room, which was great. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. I highly recommend this property.

The hotel is in a good location near the university, easy to get to downtown via Zurich's excellent bus system. Restaurant in hotel is nice, and rooms are small but modern. Cute specialty grocer across the street and coffee shop next door.
