We took the suite Rigi, a vast roomy very well decorated room with a large table, sofas , a small kitchenette with microwave oven and refrigerator. Incredible view over the city. A perfect place to stay a couple of days in Zurich. The software for check-in and out is still deficient but the compensation offered by the staff in charge compensates. Do not waste your time with the software if stuck, just call.

Location: on the hill, overlooking the city of Zurich and next to the Rigiblick funicular station. Nice and quiet, but easy enough to get down to the city center. Free parking, playground but a bit of a walk to few nearby restaurants. Room: ours was not an apartment, more like a room with extra hallway and some seating area. It felt rather small for a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 children) particularly as part of the room was under eaves, but would have been good for 2 (or 3 with small child). Interesting bathroom layout, (no doors apart from glass door to the toilet, just curtains), would have been better if there was either better drain in the shower or a step, otherwise toilet area stays wet. Guess you would have to accept that everyone will hear what you up to in the bathroom. Another reason why I think its probably better for couples rather than families. Have not tried restaurant (unfortunately it was closed), but breakfast was rather good with freshly made to order eggs, selection of pastries, cereals and juices. Coffee rather average. Overall good place, for couples can rate it 5*s even

Beautifully situated hotel with large rooms and views over the city of Zurich. Fast connection via public transport to the city. The hotel is very quietly located in a wooded area. When we were there they worked on the road. This only caused some inconvenience during the day.

Stayed there in September 2018 for 6 nights. Not the usual hotel were you have a reception desk, met at door and helped with bags. More of a venue for meals and events with rooms above. Room was HUGE (Titlis), had a microwave and cooking facilities, a lockable cupboard but no safe. Lovely bath and seperate shower, but not exactly private, not in separate room with door, no problem for us. No city view from this room, but of forest out back which was nice. Staff were friendly. A MASSIVE issue with accommodation was the ENDLESS dragging and banging and preperation of tables at midnight for next days events. Really became annoying! No air conditioning and 27c and room was hot, open windows for air and got cooking smells inside room and then mosquito's. No Reception at night, when we left at 5 am we had to open front door and drag cases across cobblestone yard avoiding bistro tables in the process to the road. Breakfast included, which was nice, but 7.30 am onwards. Staff, when there, were lovely, friendly. This is NOT a standard hotel with reception and concierge. Would we stay again? no

we landed here thru a mistake and we are most happy about it! The Rigiblick is a boutique hotel with just seven rooms. Our room „Clariden“ is a big room, high ceiling and modern furnitures. The bathroom well equipped, but not our way regarding the toilet. The breakfast is high swiss quality! The service is very friendly, but easy going! Our waiter in the evening was such a happy person and served very friendly as well the young ladies in the morning! The restaurant and bistro is very well known from the locals and busy in the evening. Next year a must for us to return!

Lovely surprise of a hotel. Here for work, and usually get stuck in boring normal rooms. This place was bright and big and beautiful. Lovely quiet garden on a hill overlooking the town. Delicious coffee in the morning in a charming room. Just delightful

I was only here for an overnight visit en route from Middle East back to USA. This hotel was smaller than I thought.....only 7 rooms. It did not have a formal check-in like your typical hotels. The room was fantastic and very well appointed! It was Easter so they had a cute Easter basket with chocolate eggs to welcome me. Nespresso coffee machine was super bueno. I arrived too late to have dinner but would have loved to tried the food. Next time! I also loved the view of Zurich. I understand there is a cable car within a short walking distance which is great. No problems with the service as in a few other reviews. In fact, everyone was really attentive during my short stay. They arranged a taxi to the airport for me in the morning which was great. The outdoor terrace is also a wonderful plus. If I am in Zurich again, I will certainly stay here again!

I chanced upon this hotel on tripadvisor based on other reviews and went ahead to book it. It was truly a hidden gem. The room is the biggest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Loved the large ceiling to floor windows, looking out to lovely trees. Bonus: on the top floor is a 1 Michelin star restaurant, lovely dinner but service is pretty slow. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the service is indeed lacking. I didn't mind not having a reception while checking in and out, but when I needed help with WIFI whilst in the room, I couldn't reach anyone over the hotel room phone. When we were checking out, told the staff about it and she apologised for forgetting to connect my WIFI and phone on. That and the water boiler is filled with tea leaves left from the previous guest and housekeeping forgot to clean it. It wasn't a biggie, the staff were all very courteous and friendly. The spacious, beautiful room made up for everything. Also, I'm on the same page with the other reviewer about the bathroom, the layout is a little strange. If I'm ever back to Zurich, I will definitely stay there again.
