Stayed here for one night. Had booked a single room, but got a very well-sized, comfortable twin room. It was nice and quiet, with a good bathroom (lovely bath!) Dinner was good - nothing fancy, but well-priced, and served with a smile. All comments about the stairs are true though - they are STEEP and a bit scary.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got, but the location was perfect for us. The room was up two sets of very steep stairs (typical Dutch stairways). I had to ask the hotel staff to help me with my bag. The room was clean and neat. There was...

We were given a huge room that we could have danced in! An older place with good character. Staff were great and very helpful at all times. Windows are only single glazed so street noise can be heard in the mornings. Breakfast was included in the price and had my favourite dutch cheese along with cold meats and a good...

We had planned a trip around Europe and started in Sneek. We had found the hotel through Google earth. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food however we thought was incredible. Special thanks go to Martin for the wonderful specially prepared dessert.Thank you

Review: Rooms are not very spacy, bathrooms basic and hotel is rather noisy for most of the rooms. Breakfast is not an asset (but not expesive and you've eaten ok if needed). But the staff is friendly and welcoming and recognise regulars. Restaurant at ground-level is good (average quality but taking into account the very acceptable prices, very good value...

This was our first bath in the Netherlands! All others had been showers. Nice clean room and very clean bathroom. There was a problem through the night with the bathroom starting to smell like old school dinner cabbage which became very pervasive by the morning and no window to open to air it out. However we managed and it didnt...

Stayed here for 2 nights in October '09. A fairly small 'single room' (but the bed was a comfortable double one), with good wireless internet and high tech flat screen TV with a zillion channels. Very friendly staff and nice Dutch breakfast. Sneek is a small town, the hotel is right across the road from the railway station and a...

“Avoid rooms in the hallways on 1th/2th floor. Walls are thin and thus rooms are noisy. Ask a room nearby the stairs (ideally room nr. 5, the corner room on the 1th floor).”
