An ideal location for our hiking holiday, Edelhert trail ll. As the hotel is situated near the bus station, we could reach the starting (and end) point within 30 minutes with bus. Air conditioning was not working properly. The staff was friendly, breakfast ok. A very basic but clean hotel.

Last night we were staying in Mercure Hotel in Nijmegen. We got the room in the corner #508. I found the room nice in first impression but after view minutes in the room, everywhere are dusty: top of bed board, night lamp n all lamp, in the closet, top and under minibar, behind tv, windowsills, toilet was dirty, hairdryer full of dust n tv is working only 1 tv canal. I was working with Accor group couple years ago n in my opinion this Mercure Hotel is below standard of Accor. I expect more clean. I didn’t inform them when I found that all. Because we stayed only a night n my friend doesn’t bother about that kind of thing. But I am working in hotel (ex employee of Accor group) n I feel disappointed with this Mercure. I don’t recommend this hotel to stay.

Dear Zzarkoni, I am so sorry to read this and sincerely apologize for it. Our rooms had never been empty this long, but due to the limited amount of guests, several floors are closed off after the general cleaning. As soon as we discovered these rooms were dusty, we adjusted our processes and now clean the rooms which have been closed off, before allocating guests. Though why choose not to mention this to us in the hotel, though wait until after departure? As a former colleague, you must know we do our utmost to offer all guests a good stay and are happy to assist and of course to solve if something is not right. That's really too bad, we could have given you a better experience as you now had. Kind regards, Ivonne den Hartog Management Assistant

The Mecure in Nijmegen is a superb hotel with excellent staff who cannot do enough to make your stay with them a joy.It is situated close to the town centre within easy walking distance and is a 30 minute drive from the Open Air museum and the Para cemetery in Arnhem. my wife and i had a superb stay and will not hesitate to return. All the hotel staff coped with the problems that corona virus has created and you would not know that things had changed but we both felt safe and protected. Congratulations to all at Mecure Nimegen staff and you are a credit to your hotel.

The Hotel is in a proper place, close to the downtown. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well equipped. Breakfast were delicious. Regulation connected to COVID is useful. The staff is helpful, kind and friendly.

This Mercure is located directly beside the Train Station. There is parking (for a fee) right behind the hotel and you do not need to drive into the city center to get there. In addition to having the trains and other public transit right there, downtown and the waterfront are an easy walk from the hotel---plenty of food options and stores, etc are easily accessible on foot. The staff were particularly friendly and helpful--esepcially at the front desk. Room was good: clean, decent sized, comfortable bed, good shower, etc. Wifi was fast and consistent The on site fitness room and sauna does have a sign saying you have to prebook it--which was a bit odd. Talking to the front desk, they also offered use of a pass to workout at the very nice, well equiped, professional facility next door---which was wonderful.
