Enjoyed my stay in this hotel. First of all, location is just perfect! Oldtown is just on the other side of the road. Everything is so close that you can walk there. Room was well equipted and cozy as a hotel itself. Downstairs there's a bar and a restaurant. Dinner was really good, but something still missing (4 out of...

Hotel is quite dull 1970s style and needs serious updating. Breakfast uninspiring .Room very basic, no bottled water, no tea/ coffee making facility, really noisy, Dirty carpet, dull and minimalist very small bathroom. Would never return. On check out lady was very rude, asked if I wanted to pay in euros or dollars ?? Put card into machine and asked...

We booked our room last minute. This was absolutely no problem, we had a clean and cosy room, very friendly people and a good service. The location is superb. The restaurant was opened until 11pm. Breakfast was great as well. When we visit Groningen again, we would choose the Martini Hotel again.

I stayed here only one night however during that time period I was satisfied by the service. With my boyfriend, we booked the place one hour before getting there and they, either way, were well organized and really helpful. The room itself was a double bedroom with a private bathroom. It had everything needed for a stay and was quite...

The Martini Hotel is well located, few minutes away from the city centre, traun station also walk distance. The staff is friendly and ready to help. We were here 2 adults and our son (10 month old). The economy room was small, but ok according to the price-we take room without the breakfest, 12,50 € for person and breakfest was...

Dear David U, Thanks for having taken the time to write a review about us. We will certainly discuss your remarks about the smell on the toilet and the carpet in the room. Kind regards, Renate - Martini Hotel

Small cozy room with everything needed. Staff was friendly and helpful and location was perfect. Since everything attraction, restaurant, café, store or any other convenience is only 5-10 minutes away, your stay can't be simpler.

Arriving by train to Groningen we headed for the taxi rank and was told - no - just walk over there and turn right - so maybe 8 minutes walk. Located within the city centre which was a lively throng of young adults (apparently Uni was due back that week) with outdoor cafes buzzing. As you enter the Martini Hotel...

Stayed 2 nights here, and found hotel to be very relaxing and affordable. Rooms were good, quiet, beds very comfortable, although do like a bit more privacy in a bathroom! Spacious and relaxing bar area, friendly staff, and great location for wandering about.

An impressive ground floor area nicely restored, with some notable stained glass in the stairwell. Most helpful and friendly personnel without exception; they could not be faulted. A good location for the city and the trains. Hire bikes at a fair price. Excellent breakfast in a splendid surrounding. The room was a fairly typical modern hotel room at the back...

The Martini Hotel is old, dated and grand. This is somewhat of a contradiction but there is a old style that is nice but the hotel could use a bit of a touch-up. The staff is friendly and attentive. As an old hotel, people with mobility problems my have difficulties in this hotel (doesn't apply to us but I wanted...
