Hotel Cornelisz is based in a brilliant location of Amsterdam. Not in the main tourist area whilst also being in the middle of the city, near Vondel Park and a shopping district. The beds were very comfortable and the room was great, with good bathroom...More
I visit Amsterdam occasionally and have found a gem of a hotel. Fantastic location, ideal for couples or families. The rooms are a good size for the city. Lovely view from the 5th floor rooms. Tasty buffet breakfast included in the cost.

This hotel is situated on the most expensive street of Amsterdam. Go window shopping, or shopping all you can while not forgetting about visiting the museums (it's ONE block away from Musemplein, where the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum are). Very convenient access to tramway...More

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
