We booked this hotel for one night for our wedding anniversary. We were welcomed warmly by a young lady who checked us in, made us coffee and then sat and explained about Amsterdam, providing us with a map. All our questions were answered. The room was clean, with chocolates and fruit on the pillows and complimentary drinks in the mini...

This hotel was reasonably priced and close enough to the inner city. It was to be expected, but the rooms are tiny. It's very tall and we had a room on the top floor--the stairs are windy and steep and quite difficult to manuever with a bag. I recommend asking for a low floor. Otherwise it was clean and cozy.

We spent the last night of our holiday in the Alp Hotel. We had just travelled in from Brugge on a very hot day with heavy luggage and were made to feel very welcome immediately by Nicole who is a real asset to front of house. Complimentary cold beers were enjoyed in the shady outside courtyard and the bags were...

I stayed in the Alp Hotel for 2 nights at the beginning of July with a small group of people. Even though 1 of our group dropped out at the last minute & we each had to cover his share of the cost, we only had to pay £85 each. Considering how expensive Amsterdam is, that's a bargain! The hotel...

The location of the hotel is much better than what one may think of, if just by looking at the map. The tram stop is right outside the hotel, 10 minutes to Dam Square, Central Station by Tram 13 and to Van Gogh Museum by 12, also in 10 minutes. A supermarket, Albert Heijn, is right across the street. The...

We arrived very early in the morning from Sydney and were made welcome by the hotel owners. They stored our luggage and invited us to sit ion their sunny terrace and help ourselves to drinks, even though check in was not until the afternoon. They even let us have breakfast once the other guests had been served. Feeling refreshed we...

Very nice hotel and very friendly staff! The location is very good and near to the best places to visit like restaurants, museums, parks. The Tram Line is in front of the hotel. Good breakfast. They always put some apples and chocolates in the room! Very kind. The only negative thing is the upstairs.
