We spent three nights at the Park Mansion and wish it could have been a month. Charles has created the most wonderful experience for his guests! First of all, the location is perfect. Five minutes from the fabulous Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, same to board the canal cruises and ten minutes to the Art and Antiques area - Spiegelkwartier...

I have been travelling extensively for the last 40 years and Park Mansion in Amsterdam will be for a long time, I feel, on my short list of places to remember. Charles and Egle are unbeatable, to go with the apartment and the surroundings. Thank you again to both

Everything about Park Mansion is special. Location: On a quiet street overlooking Vondelpark to the front and a beautiful, quiet view of nature-filled gardens at the rear. There are even parrots flying around the trees! All the best parts of Amsterdam are minutes away on foot. The building: The hallway and stairs are filled with beautiful paintings and busts and...

A truly opulent and decadent apartment with charm and great staff to match! Did not disappoint in any way and would certainly return next time in Amsterdam!! I think the pictures say it all and then Charles and Egle could not do enough to help over and above the expected. Great find.

Truly amazing stay! There are many reasons why to come back to Amsterdam and the wonderful hospitality of all the nice people from Park Mansion is definitely one of them. We appreciated the personal care from the very beginning till the end of our stay, and above all, we enjoyed home-made apple pie (for me the best dessert in Amsterdam).

This is in all respects an amazing place. Ideal location if you are into visiting the great museums of Amsterdam. Friendly staff, superb decor. Very quiet. Free use of the well-stocked fridge, which is very convenient for a quick bite and rest between activities. Cheese, cold cuts, wine, beer, a bottle of champagne, apple pie, fresh fruit, great breakfast, freshly-pressed...

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
