Great location next to the Nieuwmarkt, very friendly host, comfortable price. 2 floors, both elegantly designed. The first floor has a small equiped kitchen and a long dining table. The second floor is the shower and bedroom.

It was a very good experience, you could reach everything on foot after a tiring business day. Additionally the appartment was equipped with all nessecary amenities and useful objects (the umbrella was really a must!). I definately recommend the place for those who want to feel like locals in the heart of Amsrterdam.

Went for just one night in the amazing, cute and cozy appartement which is perfect for a couple (with or without some kids). You even have your own living room with a small bar, if you want to have some guests over for tea or a beer. More than what you can wish for in this price range. Reception was...

This apartment is a great way to enjoy Amsterdam and live the Amsterdam life, even just for a few days. The hosts, Chris and David, as well as their assistant Nikki, are very welcoming, friendly and hospitable, making the stay that extra great. The apartment is very central, just off the main areas, so quiet too (we never had any...

Beautiful Dutch-style apartment with quirky traditional decor. Staff were so accommodating to our late arrival - and we were given a complimentary bottle of wine and a box of chocolates and a personalized thank you card for our stay! Apartment was located in a great area, really safe and quiet (good for sleeping off hangovers!) but just 5 minutes from...

My wife and I just spent 4 days in Amsterdam and stayed in a great Amsterdam at Home apartment. It is on a quiet street with easy access to everything you want to see Amsterdam. The apartment had a very nice first floor with small kitchen/bar, sitting area with dining room table, sofa and bathroom. The upstairs had a large...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
