Stayed here in January and it was a brilliant trip. Stayed in the downstairs basement flat, had loads of room for 2, beautifully decorated and a superb location. Great facilities, clean and homely. Would definitely recommend :)

This property is amazing! My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend and we were not disappointed. It is very clean, bright light and spacious. It's like our own home in the middle of the city where we are travelling. Location is very central, few minutes walk from the central station, museums, and all tourist attraction. We had a...

We stayed one night in the lower ground floor on our last day in Amsterdam. The studio is very clean and bright. Location is very central - located in the a very quiet street but just a minute away from everything. I love this apartment, it made us feel like a local while visiting Amsterdam. I love the small touches...

In my opinion the apartment is no less that stunning, a compact space perfectly proportioned and laid out. Lovely shower (sometimes a struggle to find abroad). Chris & David make the whole experience complete, they are lovely, extremely helpful and approachable. After travelling round a lot of Europe - Amsterdam at home is by far the best and most beautiful...

Amsterdam at home was the best place i have stayed in Amsterdam. The accommodation was exactly as it is in its pictures, clean, cosy, warm and welcoming. We even had food left in our apartment even though we didn't include breakfast! The ice breaker really was the welcome bottle of wine on the table, it is the personal touches like...

I just spent 8 days at Amsterdam At Home (this was my 4th stay). I always stay in the upper two story apartment. Since Chris and David have taken over (Krystal was amazing too!) they've added some really lovely touches to the apartment. They are extremely friendly and wonderful and whatever we needed we were given right away. There really...

We fell on our feet here. The location is ideal for seeing the city either by foot or bike. You are only two blocks from the busiest part of the city but the apartment was in quiet side street with a police station at the end of the road just to be sure it will be peaceful! The ground floor...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
