Stayed beginning of Dec 2016. Wonderful & helpful staff - they really made our short stay better with all the info and recommendations we got! The location is great, right in the old city so very easy to get around by foot. Amsterdam is quite expensive in general and so was the room but at least we were within walking...

I had a good stay in the Acostar hotel. The location was great and within walking distance of everywhere I needed to go. The room I stayed in was extremely small (tiny!) but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice as well. The hotel is near a lot of shops, bars, and restaurants as well as tram/train stops...

Rooms are small, but we didn't intend to spend so much time, so that was fine. Cleaning service accurate and very good, solid continental breakfast and some nice feedback from the staff. A good choice, yes.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel as it doesn't have the greatest score on trip advisor. They offer free tea and coffee at reception which was nice. No hair dryers in the room but I took my own anyway. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard and towels were changed. The bathroom was modern, clean and the shower...

Hotel was not quite what I had expected when we first arrived. However, the staff are friendly and very helpful. They offer free coffee at the reception, which is relly nice. Do note that there is no lift in the upper floors. We had a little toddler and 3 bags, so that was quite a struggle. Thankfully, the staff helped...

After hours of searching for the best budget break we could find with limited dates available to us, we decided to book the Acostar Hotel. Overall a great stay here - rooms are small, but we didn't intend on spending much time in there so no problem. Room was surprisingly clean - having read other reviews I had prepared myself...

This hotel isn't flash...but what I got was a very clean room, tv, shower (nice hot water and I was on the 5th floor!), Controllable heating (always nice)....window that opens (very nice!). I only ended up here because everywhere else was booked but I'm glad I did given the location. This place was perfect for me....I was looking for somewhere...

There were 6 of us that stayed in this hotel. We were a little dubious given the reviews so I emailed the hotel direct to ask if we could have their 3 best rooms (cheeky I know but if you don't ask...) We were pleasantly surprised. The location is brilliant and all rooms were clean. They are very small but...

The hotel was lovely with extremely clean rooms and lovely decor. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels are also supplied each day, the only drawback was that our friend has a bad knee and the stairs are like climbing a mountain but it's to be expected in a city where all the buildings are tall...
