Hotel is nice and modern, the room and bathroom were a bit too small (the beds were taking up more than half of entire room space!) but there was an electric kettle and tea/coffee satchels, which is a nice touch. Located around 30 min away...More
Booked this last minute, facilities ok, bit of a squash with 3 single beds in what is clearly meant to be a double - very close to vondel park and 3 minutes from tram stop (line 2). Would stay again though ideally in a bigger...More
The room was ok and the breakfast buffet was very good. It`s a calm place not too far from the museums and the city. The receptionist was also very friendly and helpful. So I had a good time together with my son(19).
The only disadvantage...More

I guess it depends how far in to the centre you go. We spent most night at the bars around Leidespein, so from there it was about 30-35 minutes through the park. Even at 11 or 12pm, the park was still occupied by people and cyclists passing through with lights on. We never felt unsafe, but only did it a couple of times. As mentioned below, walking around and then along Willemsparkweg might be preferable and will be much more well lit.
The #2 tram runs very late though, beyond midnight, I believe.
