We had a great night stay! Great price! Has elevator. Very close to city centre and everything. Big buffet style breakfast in the adjacent Irish pub called Molly Malone's. Also good food and beers for a decent price at the same pub.

Stayed here in a twin room for 3 nights. The hotel is a great Base to explore Amsterdam. Breakfast is served next door in the pub which is great. The staff are also good, there is a coffee machin in the reception area that can be used & also a vending machine. I would stay again.

Good Value for money room was down stairs this would be my only negative next time I book I would definitely make sure it was a upstairs room. Food next door in the Irish pub is good also a great atmosphere. Good weekend...

Room was good. Modern and clean. Bed linen clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean, quite roomy and a proper shower room rather than a boxed off corner of your bedroom. Shower reasonably powerful and water hot. Very pleasant staff at reception. The lady booking us in on 5th Feb was very welcoming. Location is nearer the station but really not far...

I stayed here for 4 nights last month and had a great experience. The hotel is in a brilliant location, a few minutes walk to the train station and a lot of the main tourist spots. It was so modern and the room, whilst it had no windows, was lovely and comfortable. The beds were great, there was a great...

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
