Great luxury hotel in a unique setting. Convenient location for our first-time visit to Amsterdam. Service was impeccable. Hotel boat ride was a real treat. General Amastedam note - always, always stay alert for bikes!

The Pulitzer is in the BEST location in Amsterdam, the design, decor, and rooms are fantastic and the staff could not be nicer. LOVED it!! We would definitely recommend this property and if possible, suggest a canal facing room for the lovely view.

We stayed four nights at the Pulitzer, and our party occupied two rooms. From the moment we stepped through the entrance until we, somewhat reluctantly, departed the experience was an absolute pleasure. Located on the Prinsengracht, the Pulitzer is very centrally positioned; all of Amsterdam’s major attractions are within walking distance, or for the less energetic, a short tram/bus or...

room not made up at 2pm. front desk staff ranged from harried to very nice. loud buzzing in room. Maintenance seemed put out that we didn't know it was coming from the minibar and hadn't handled it ourselves. Almost rude. breakfast needs work. bathrooms are not well configured and the lack of tubs during my stay was unfortunate (told only...

With exceptions I have mentioned in previous pages, our stay was very enjoyable. I quite liked the hotel and the architecture. Food was great. Due to conbining various apartments, I believe there should be a warning that certain rooms are hard to reach such as our room 451, especially with baggages.

We stayed at the Pulitzer for two nights and were very sad to leave. We were in Amsterdam for 4 nights but were unable to get our first two nights at the Pulitzer so stayed somewhere else which was nice but this was far more "us". The room had a wonderful canal view, felt cozy and classy (with colourful twists)...

Overall all our stay was pleasant and comfortable. We did have a problem with the radiator heaters in the room but, once we elected to alert the hotel staff, the problem was remedied. Apparently Europeans don't sleep with a top sheet as do Americans so this also was remedied by speaking to the maids.

Spent a long weekend here for our anniversary. Everything from check-in to check-out fantastic. All of the staff we came into contact with very friendly and helpful. The hotel is less than a 5 minute walk away from the nearest tram stop and also the the Anne Frank house. We even had a phone call from the duty manager asking...

Great hotel in an excellent location. The room was very clean and comfortable with an excellent bed. Good gym facilities and a nice bar with an extensive choice of top quality drinks to wind down in. The Nine Streets area has many interesting shops, bars and restaurants within an easy walking distance.
