We stayed here with our son and his partner to celebrate my wife's birthday. Everything about our experience was delightful and Frieda was so helpful arranging for champagne and chocolates to be there when we arrived and for the fire in our room - the...More
The Museum Suites was a great place for us. We were visiting mainly to see the museums, and this was perfect; just a few blocks away, in a quiet and mostly residential neighborhood with some nice shops and great restaurants. Also nearby is the Concertgebouw...More
Stay in the Van Gogh Suite to start our European trip. It spoiled the rest of our trip as the room was exquisite and the bathroom was spacious. Annemarie went all out in providing any request for breakfast or trips around Amsterdam. Perfect location to...More

Everything about our stay at Museum Suites was a delight from the stylishly appointed rooms (my two boys and I stayed in the Vermeer Suite which had a separate bedroom, living area, and small kitchen) to the generous breakfast served in the dining room to...More
Museum Suites is located in an elegant and quiet part of Amsterdam close to the major museums. We stayed in one of 4 suites, that was large and lovingly appointed. The owner, as well as her two assistants, couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating....More

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

We got a 'Hotel Taxi' which went to all the hotels in Amsterdam - it's worth checking if you can get one of those because it wasn't expensive and it gets you there directly - worth checking with Museum Suites
