The saving grace of this hotel is its location. They also own Townhouse Hotel. Our room #3 smelled really bad. The toilet smelled like raw sewage and the extraction fan was insufficient. Toilet seat broken. Only shelf in bathroom was loose and kept falling off....More
This is basically the first step up from staying in a hostel - basic, clean, and well located. I was allocated a ‘more luxurious’ room on my first night, only to be moved to the basic room for the second night (in a different building)....More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws
include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
