Hotel Larende is 'what you see is what you get'. The hotel is really tiny (only 15 rooms) but as a positive result the welcome and treatment is very personal. It's also very handy that, when travelling with a little baby, the hotel has a small restaurant with some good quality food so you can have dinner while your baby...

Thanks for a great stay in October 2016. A special thanks to Andrea? (I think that was her name) for a special and pleasant welcome. My daughter of 13 and I was offered a drink (wine for me and soda for my daughter) Andrea sat down with the map of Amsterdam, gave us valuable information about what we could do...

Aside being assigned the wrong room initially and being allowed to settle, before being relocated under pressure, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although humble, the style is clean, modern and sharp. Good service, solid WiFi, a small bar and inexpensive restaurant compliment the experience.

The service in the hotel is as good as any five star hotel. The rooms are modern and spotless with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Location is within a few minutes walk of the new Foodhallen and another few minutes to the museums. Many close tram stops. Greatpeop,em generous and welcoming. This is a real find!

Found hotel to be in a convenient location just far enough out of centre but minutes from tram for easy access. Local cafe and bar offered value for money. Hotel staff very welcoming, polite and customer focussed. Any request was met with a positive response and the warm birthday wishes were welcomed. Room plenty large enough for two with big...

Really nice hotel and convenient for the centre of Amsterdam. Its walkable to Dam Square I'm around 25 mins but the tram stop is right outside if you prefer. Stayed for three nights in November. Biblical rain but that can't be helped! Rooms are modern, and well laid out with storage and comfort. Showers excellent. Mattresses very firm. We were...

Spent a 3 night stay at Hotel Larende. Requested a quiet room at the rear which was granted. Very clean and warm which was welcoming after the very rainy cold weather. Our room was cozy and nice. The staff were lovely and friendly. Kristina was very nice and I can't remember the receptionist's name who welcomed us on Thursday and...

Having left the hustle bustle of Paris, flying into Amsterdam, we arrive at the Hotel Larende to be greeted by Lenny with a cold draft Heineken. The slow down began. Service is 24 hours. Breakfast is beyond comment other than to say, GREAT. Staff can hook up up with public transportation passes to Hop on Hop off tickets. Hotel does...

Modern and clean hotel -clean relatively large rooms and beds. We were welcomed with a free drink and everything was good during our trip. Breakfast was pleasant - served between 7.30 and 10am. On the saturday morning it was busiest in that last hour - earlier on it was fine. Selection of cheeses and cold meats, breads, a couple of...

Nothing fancy and kind of small, but all double rooms come with a balcony, beds were proper sized and comfortable and everything is clean and neat and welcoming. Perfect spot in walking distance to the city. Good coffee and trendy restaurants in immediate distance. Friendly multi language speaking 24/7 reception, doable wifi, awful breakfast buffet with dry bread and soggy...
