Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.

Train from the airport to the central station is really easy and fast. Then get a tram from outside the front of the station to the Musuemplein area, the stop for the Reiksmuseum / Van Gogh museum / I Amsterdam sign, the hotel is a few mins walk from here. Train from the airport was about €10 each, tram about €3.

Thank you for your kind interest in Hotel JL No76. There are indeed load of bike racks throughout the city, however, you must secure your bikes properly with at least two locks. We also can also put your bikes in our back yard, there they should be safe. We hope to be able to welcome you during your EU bike and train trip!
Kind regards Team Vondel Hotels.
