I stayed here with my boyfriend during February for my birthday and we had an amazing experience! The hotel is so different to any other and is immaculate! The staff were so helpful and friendly. We have booked to come back in September this year for 6 nights, each room is different, the beds are very comfy and the bathroom...

When the main function of a hotel, to supply a place to sleep, ceases to function, I cannot give it a better than 1 grade. Yes, it was terribly hot in Amsterdam during the visit, but when it's warmer inside the room, than outside, and there is ABSOLUTELY no flow of air, it's unacceptable. Response from reception was: we know,...

Dear Nils, thank you for sharing your experiences. We are sorry to read your stay wasn't to your satisfaction. It was - as you wrote - terribily hot in Amsterdam and the fans we have had to work hard. We decided to install airconditioning in the rooms on the frontside of the hotel as soon as possible, but this can't...

Really friendly staff, very clean room and amazing location! We also loved the cafe next door for a cheap, tasty breakfast! We stayed in one of the hotel's one star rooms and were pleasantly surprised at its size. The room did get quite hot but we were in the middle of a heatwave so this was to be expected.

Hotel is located in Great location, where can easily access to central station, & walking distance to most attraction places. BUT...... There is no Air-Conditional in the room, only provided a "cooling fan". Most of the time, you would prefer to spend your day outside rather than in the "sauna" room. Room also is in poor condition, the wooden ceiling...

This Hotel has everything you need and in a great location. Easy walking distance of the main train station, which you can easily get to/from the airport. Friendly and helpful staff, small and relaxing Hotel if you don't plan on spending much time in the room.

Great, funky hotel and excellent value for money. We were upgraded to a four star room after booking a three-star. Don't expect a big room, just enjoy the quirkiness. The reception staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location is hard to beat.

This hotel is just off the Centraal Square by the main train station. So, if you're arriving in Amsterdam by train or air, it's a great location. The hotel is chic and compact, carved out of one modern and one traditional building on the city's main thoroughfare. Every room is unique and we had a somewhat dark but quiet room...

I've never been the type of traveler to spend hours in her hotel, so tiny rooms don't typically bother me--which is why this hotel's primary disadvantage wasn't enough to dissuade me from recommending this hotel. Yes, one needs to do a little side-stepping around the furniture whenever the bathroom door is even partially open (which it *had* to be in...

Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
