We stayed for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud - so comfortable to snuggle into. Staff were wonderful to deal with and certainly went above and beyond to assist with any issues/queries we had. The hotel is in a great location - close to trams...

Small, quiet and charming hotel with great access to local sites including primary Amsterdam museums. The hotel is within walking distance of several good restaurants and a cool jazz bar. Will plan on staying again on our next visit to Amsterdam.

Rooms were extremely small size. This was not obvious in photos posted on Booking.com Room rate is very expensive compared to the less than average rooms and service Breakfast was also modest and very expensive as well. Definitely I won't stay in this hotel on my next visit

I have stayed in this hotel several many times and always a first choice when travelling to Amsterdam. It is close to the centre but quietly located. very near the museum of modern art. The staff are welcoming, accommodating and friendly. the rooms are spacious with good views and some with balconies.

The hotel is situated is a very nice neighbourhood just 1-2minutes walk to the tram. Tram no 2,5 stop here which will take you to the canals and central station. The hotel itself is lovely and clean. The room is equipped with all necessities. My room is on 2nd floor facing the street but there was no noise at all...

I enjoyed my stay here. The location is great, close to the museums and trams for downtown, and it is on a nice street. Very friendly and helpful staff and I had a cute comfortable room, which was small, but perfect for a short business stay.

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
