This is a lovely hotel, great location, friendly and very obliging staff. Would definitely stay there again. Really nice rooms. Great breakfast and lots of free tea, coffee and nice cakes. Small gym, but all the necessary in it.

I´ve stayed here three times and everytime I´ve been there I had problems with the front staff. They are rude, not nice. The third was the charmer they said, and they had a couple of new people there that completely change the experience. The rooms are small but beautiful decorated, the bed is super comfortable. My only complain would be...

Our first time in Amsterdam - did my TA research and boy did it pay off. Hotel E is beautiful - chandeliers, old world charm - all day free coffee/cocoa - afternoon/evening cookies & flavored water - canal right out the front door - just a great location with VERY friendly staff. Fell asleep every night with the windows open...

This hotel has small, but very cozy rooms. Coffee, tea, flavored waters, and goodies are available to guests throughout the day. There is a restaurant, however we did not utilize it. Breakfast prices are 18 euro per person. But there are plenty of other delightful but lower priced cafes in the area. The hotel is situated very close to major...

This was not what i was expecting. Truly the most amazing decor in any hotel i have ever visited. The chandeliers were stunning, a drink at the bar is a must and our room was stunning. Choose a room on the street side instead of the canal. The street side rooms have little balconys and it lovely to stand there...

We stayed in the Hotel Estherea and fell in love with the hotel the minute we arrived. Everything is perfect, the welcome you receive from Reception, the decor throughout the hotel is beautiful and the bedroom is amazing. The hotel is set alongside one of the many canals and although the weather was a little dreary during our stay, everything...

From the moment we arrived, until the morning we checked out, everything about our stay at Hotel Estherea was amazing. Our room, 403, was lovely and overlooked a fairly quiet street. The coffee bar and snacks were an added bonus, as was the wonderful smelling L'OCCITANE products. We had breakfast many of the mornings we were there and there was...

Staff are very friendly, the hotel is very well designed (especially the lighting) which creates a good ambience. Location right on the Singel is ideal for reaching all parts of town. Our room had lots of character and the bed was really comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

Everything would be near perfect, but there is strong moldy smell in the room. We are a bit allergic to mold and we felt this immediately when entering the room. Such pity as otherwise the hotel is very nice. Let's see how the first night goes and how blocked our noses will be after first night :(. A no-go for...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
