We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Estherea in early March 2014. An excellent hotel in the old part the City within easy walking distance of many of the city's attractions, including the Anne Frank House, Rijksmuseum, Flower Market, Dam Square and 10 minutes from Central Station. The staff were very helpful. The hotel does not serve dinner but there... More

Great value, great charm and comfort in the old the City. The staff are great and very open to assisting. I have stayed there for several years on trips and will return. The location is walking distance from the Central Station sitting elegantly on the Singel Canal. Just a quick walk to the flower market, the Anne Frank house and... More

We were really delighted with the hotel. As soon as we arrived I was struck by the lovely atmosphere, fab decor and delicate scented undertones of cut flowers, orchids and spring bulbs and straight away I had a real sense of being in Amsterdam. Our room was very comfortable, small, but this must be indicative of the wonderful architecture and... More

My wife and I spent a few nights at Hotel Estherea in February, and we could not have been more pleased. Everything about the hotel was lovely, and the staff was a joy to work with. The location is terrific: we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. We've already recommended the hotel to friends. And if... More

Wonderful in all ways, just what we needed for our wedding anniversary treat. Breakfast was delicious with lots too choose, this canal area is ideal for walking and talking and eating and drinking. A charming hotel, beautifully decorated and to top it all we had the best margaritas ever (and we try them whenever we are away) - the staff... More

We had stayed here some time back and we always said we would return! Loved all the changes and the expansion. We picked a room with a jetted tub, it was very relaxing after a long day of museums and walking. Wonderful location, Maria's Bar was very convenient and all the staff were great! If we come back to Amsterdam,... More

Went here for Valentine's weekend and were simply amazed by everything. Hotel staff were polite and friendly. We arrived early morning before the room was ready and they kindly took our luggage and advised the room would be ready around 3pm. We decided to put the time to good use and visit the Anne Frank museum (go early to avoid... More

I arrived into the hotel very late in the evening. The hotel door was locked. I had to ring twice for it to get opened. I was met by a girl in a coat, ready to leave. Then another one appeared and they spoke between themselves not in English which I found very rude. I got into my room through... More

It was warm, pleasant. Very good breakfast. I wished every hotel was like this one. Maria's bar had good cocktails, everything fresh made. The location is excellent. If you want to have a very good restaurant nearby: Beulings in Beulingstraat.
