Just spent 3 great nights here......totally positive experience in every respect. The hotel exudes comfort and laid-back 'coolness' from the time you walk in the door, the service was outstanding throughout our stay and the location can't be beat. The lobby bar/restaurant ("Lotti's") is clearly a popular place among locals, and that just add's to the great energy of the...

Hey there, thanks for taking the time to review! So glad you loved our vibe and our team behind reception – we've passed along some extra love to Mijke :) Happy to hear you enjoyed Lotti's and hope you were able to catch a good night's rest in the end. Hope to have you back again soon!

I can't say enough good things about The Hoxton. Everyone was so friendly and outgoing. A great experience from check-in to check-out. We stayed for 5 days and had the front desk folks make a number of dinner reservations for us, cheerfully without any of the attitude you can get at other hotels. They also greeted us when we walked...

Hey there, thanks for sharing all that love! Happy to hear you enjoyed your days with us and loved our team behind reception. So glad you had plenty of room in our Roomy and liked the vibe (even if it's a bit busy) in our Lobby, too. Hope to have you back again soon!

I wasn't expecting to be staying in Amsterdam. I was supposed to be flying to Mexico City but air traffic control failure at Schiphol left me overnighting in Amsterdam. Rather than stay at KLM's designated (soulless) airport hotel, I asked to stay in town. I'm familiar with The Hoxton in Shoreditch so deciding where to stay was easy. It's a...

Hey there, thanks for sharing the love! So glad we were able to perk up your night after all those travel struggles and that you chose us based on our big bro in Shoreditch. Happy to hear you loved our lil' perks and enjoyed Lotti's and our brekkie bags, too. Sorry to hear the bar closed a bit early for...

We only stayed at the Hoxton for 1 night, but it was a wonderful stay! Very hip and trendy hotel, and was very close to everything we wanted to do for that day - Anne Frank Huis, Westerkerk, and the Nine Streets.

Hey there, thanks for reviewing! So glad you enjoyed your night in our Shoebox. Great to hear we were a good lil' kick-off pad for hitting the hotspots around town, too. Hope to have you back again soon!

Stayed for one night with my husband. We knew we'd made the right choice from the moment we arrived - staff were incredibly friendly and the hotel is decorated very stylishly. We had a cosy room which was also beautifully furnished and easily spacious enough for our stay. If you don't fancy venturing outside for dinner, Lotti's is great. Would...

The hotel is really lovely, cool and hip but welcoming...... it doesn't matter who you are you wouldn't feel out of place here. The staff were fantastic and so helpful. We arrived early but they were able to check us in and made loads of recommendations for dinner, helped get a reservation and basically anything we needed they were happy...

I love this kind of hotels. Hoxton in A'dam is a perfect base for enjoying the city. Rooms and social areas are bohemian chic and gives you a feeling that this hotel has been here for many years. It's not luxury but very charming and welcoming. Staff in front desk are super pro's: very informal but never too personal. That's...

Everything about this hotel is fabulous from the moment you arrive to sadly leaving. It's relaxed, intimate and just great. The reception is a great place to sit and watch the world go on. Little touches like handing out water on a return from a run, to the breakfast bags. The beds are so comfortable, and the room well laid...

Beautiful hotel with style, charm and personality. However, it's expensive and perhaps more suited to locals who want to eat at Lottie's and relax. Several times throughout our stay I observed people walking by and commenting "there's Lottie's".. never "there's the Hoxton". As tourists staying for a few days to explore Amsterdam, this is exactly how we felt too. It...

Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to review. We're really sorry to hear that your experience at The Hox didn't live up to your expectations. While we do think that the lively public spaces generally contribute to the overall guest experience, we do take it very seriously that it made you less comfortable during your stay with...

I loved staying at the Hoxton during our recent family trip to Amsterdam. I stayed with my husband and parents and we had a terrific time hanging out in the bar, dining in the restaurant, and staying in the compact, but well-decorated rooms. However, the cool factor of this trendy hotel doesn't discount the staff's exceedingly friendly attitudes towards guests...
