A 10 minute walk from the railway station. Seems to be having rooms improved...bathroom in our room clearly recently upgraded. Beds comfortable. Did not have breakfast for it seemed a bit pricy. Staff friendly and helpfull.

I stayed here with my partner just before Christmas. We had a spacious room with a comfortable bed. We were provided with dressing gowns and slippers which was a nice touch. The bathroom was one of the best I have ever had - a choice of 2 shower heads and a bath was very impressive. The only downside was the...

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely weekend in this hotel. The weather was cold and rainy, and the hotel was a comfy warm place to return to. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good value at 14 euros. Our first impression of the room was that it was dark, with no large window to let...

Can't fault this comfy and welcoming hotel. Our room was spacious, if quirky, and very clean. Only possible downside was the lack of a window - it had only a small skylight- but really, that wasn't necessary: we were only sleeping there! The shower was large and modern, and the room had everything we could want. Staff were welcoming and...

We booked this hotel as part of a lufthansa holiday package for a 3 day trip in January. We arrived at the hotel early and we were able to store our luggage and explore until it was time to check in. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. The room was nice, we had a tub/shower,...

Couldn't fault this hotel at all!! The service and the room was incredible. Booked it for my boyfriends birthday which lands on Valentine's Day. They made the room extra special for him. The location is second to none. Walking distance from everything. For a young couple exploring Amsterdam it's the best place to stay. Couldn't thank this hotel enough for...

Stayed here for three nights, the location was amazing, right in the heart of Amsterdam so no need to get trams etc...the hotel itself was very traditional, could do with a few touch ups, very dark colours used throughout although it is an old building. The bathrooms were lovely! Overall good stay and value for money.

Upon arrival they couldn't find my reservation and I had to show emails of proof for this. We then got taken to our room on the first floor and then led down this really thin set of stairs (basically felt like a dungeon) which myself or my partner could just about fit down and our shoulders would scrape the walls....

Great location, not too far from the train station and great for attractions. We liked our room, it was quirky but lovely. The lack of windows was unusual but really didnt affect our stay. Good service from reception and room cleaning.

Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
