Hotel is in a very good location. Excellent breakfast but very expensive. WiFi very unusually costs 10ish euros a day. Almost everywhere it is now free even if just in the lobby of the hotel. Hotel being refurbished but we were not affected by it. The TV in the room was not working and they were slow to respond and...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience regarding your recent stay. It is wonderful to read that you found the location suitable. On the other hand, I regret to learn that apparently you were not informed about the free Wi-Fi option in the lobby. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience you encountered with...

Stayed here for two days and enjoyed our stay while in town. It has all the facilities in addition to a executive/concierge lounge if you have the right status. Breakfast is included in that instance. The gym is really decent with plenty of machines and equpiment. It also has a saunas and for those that worry about the co-ed thing...

Marriott is probably the best spot in the city. Sure there are probably cheaper places, or places closer to certain attractions. If you choose to stay a few days and see several sites, this is the best place to stay. Also the parking garage (for a daily fee) is probably the safest place. Our room was very comfortable, and had...

The Marriott is in an excellent location in Amsterdam, in walking distance to all attractions, shopping, restaurant options and Vondel Park. The hotel staff were all courteous and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay - particularly the staff at breakfast, in the executive club lounge and those in the maintenance team....

Helpful courteous staff with renovated rooms. Very large rooms for city hotel. Executive lounge and morning breakfast were quite good. Truly one of the best Marriotts I have stayed at. Unlike prior posts, there was no construction noise and the concierge couldn't have been more helpful.

When we arrived at the hotel after a very early morning and relatively long flight (9 hours travel time) we received a warm welcome from the front desk staff. They greeted us with a genuine smile and were very helpful in registering us. Being that we arrived in the morning our room was not ready yet so they stored our...

Marriot is Marriot :-) you get you pay and you can't get enough. I specifically like this Marriot as they are so close to Vondel park which is one of my favorite spots in Amsterdam. I've been there twice and will definitely return again if the price is right.

It's a great big hotel. Maybe, while in Amsterdam, you would like a small charming hotel if you are on your honeymoon, but since we were a group of 6, the Marriot came in handy! It has a great location, you can walk anywhere or take the hop-on Hop-off bus and boat. The breakfast was amazing and the staff very...

The hotel from the outside is what you'd expect from a traditional 20th Century Marriott hotel, however step inside to a chic and modem hotel. Location is superb, just outside the hustle and bustle (only 15 min walk to Dam Sq) but perfectly located for everything else. Right next to Vondel Park, on the Canal for boat trips, restaurants from...

We were hungry and stopped for dinner at the Marriott Hotel. What a mistake. Service was so slow that it forever to order, forever to get our food and forever to get our bill. We almost walked, but again we were hungry. The food was nothing special, but the bill was memorable. AVOID. Just eat somewhere, anywhere else.
