This hotel is well placed and close to all the major attractions. It has all the services a business traveler needs and has a good restaurant for evening meals. The breakfast was very good and I would happily book a return visit here.

5/5 for this place. From the moment I walked in the hotel I was taken care of. I arrived at 5:00 in the morning. My suite was not ready nor did I expect it to be. The front desk staff gave me another room and said to come back in the afternoon to change rooms to my suite that I...

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, a member of Marriott Hotel family, is a homey luxury hotel conveniently located near Amsterdam's major attractions and Amsterdam Central Station. It takes only about 7 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station to the hotel, making this hotel especially attractive to independent travelers by train, plane, or river cruise ships alike. From Amsterdam's Schipol Airport, frequent trains...

Great location. Walking distance to Amsterdam Central Station. Breakfast was great! Check in/out staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing is wifi in the room was chargeable (unless you are Marriot Rewards Member). We booked a family room. The room was great except it was a bit far from the lobby/breakfast area. Overall it was a great hotel

Cleam room and bathroom. Neutral decoration. Fantastic location and prompt service. Friendly staff, easy check in and supercool (automatic) fast check out service. Pricey but you pay for the location. 3 mins walk from Central Station.

Good room, good location. No complaints. Check in - check out was uneventful. I'll stay there again. Price was ok, value for money. club room breakfast was good. I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza but it's undergoing renovations until May.

Great location as it's a stone throw from central station. Plenty of nearby shops and café bars and there's a stop for the tour bus and the canal-boat tours! The hotel room was really clean, fresh and the bed was very comfortable, but the room got cold (winter stay) and the heating is controlled centrally, so we couldn't do anything...

Stayed there only 1 night before our cruise. The hotel is huge with wall to wall people. Quite a view travel buses arrived and it seemed that this is hotel is primarily a favorite hotel for tour buses. The hotel is actually located fairly close to some sightseeing places, e.g. Anne Frank house and downtown. It was fine for our...

Location is perfect 5 min walking from central station. The hotel has a clean, modern design. Rooms are (unusually) spacious, cosy and Marriott beds always give me the impression of sleeping in the clouds. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Concierge team was incredible! Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away.
