This hotel is not too far from Amsterdam station, approximately 15/20 mins walk. It's in a prime location near a lot of tourist attractions. This being said, the hotel itself should be referred to as 'hostel'. When we were arrived we were greeted by the most steep and dangerous steps. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is...

Oh dear . A Christmas present from my husband so booked at travel agents as a surprise . The location is superb . However that is the only good point . The stairs are very high and steep . I would not have been able to carry my case on my own . The reception was very frosty as if...

We arrived in the middle of the day, staying for one night. One of our party had knee issues so the massive flight of stairs to even get into the reception was instantly a problem. The staff was efficient and we had our room fast. The room itself was clean and tidy, not much in the way of room, but...

Hotel quite central which is quite good, can walk to many different areas of Amsterdam. Nice views from the rooms often canal views. That's where the great things end, the beds are alright and I got a decent night sleep in them but the walls are thin so you can here everything, quite cramped rooms and not much storage. The...

When you arrive at the hotel (which actually starts on the 1st...

We stayed overnight at this gem of a hotel. It's only 2 star, no frills but clean, warm and very friendly staff. The stairs were very steep but we knew this and the staff helped us with our overnight bags. They let us check in early and leave our bags in a secure locked room until we were ready to...

Very basic 2* hotel. Located within a 5minute walk of Ann Franks House. Close to main tram lines. Hotel was clean and tidy. Lots of steps, but we were advised that when we book. Little dated but done the job. Free wifi. Comfy beds and good powerful shower. Room was a little small be we only used it to get...

Booked a triple room here with two friends for three nights. Great location as is near to Dam Square however this is the only compliment. Annoyingly, we booked this hotel with no research as we were rushing. Although hotel staff were friendly. there were many problems with our room. 1. left unopened packed of crisps on bed and the next...

Location is good. But it's the only positive thing.Stairs very steep access, dirty rooms and tatty.Changing linens absent,We even found a mouse in the room...staff quite friendly..traveling for twenty years and I fit but this is definitely the worst hotel I have visited. Breakfast is just sufficient. only recommended if you have a low budget and a lot of adaptability
