Simple and modern hotel located closely to the center. Dome square, Red square districts are located 10 min walk from the hotel. Near is located central station, trams stops, Albert Hein small retail shop. The double room is too small, but lovely. Breakfast is simple, but fits to 3star hotel raiting. Within breakfast were served fruits, buns, fried egg, sausage,...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 6 January 2017 via mobile

This hotel was literally next to the station ( exit the main entrance then turn right passing rows of bicycles parking spot ). Not only the location was the winner, the hotel itslef exceeded my expectation. The staff were friendly, helpfull, warm and accomodating. The room size, for single booking, was sufficient, the size and the amenities. Breakfast was good...

The hotel itself is really OK and located very close to the very center of Amsterdam, so it's very cool. But. After 5 AM, don't expect to get much sleep because of the trains coming in and out of the station, and Public Announcements on speakers...

Is this a nice hotel? No, but given the price I've no idea how anyone would think it was! It's a safe place to crash, close to the station, has beds(note, I didn't say comfortable beds) and good free wifi. Otherwise there isn't much to recommend it. I've stayed in far better hotels in the same bit of town but...

200 euros for a shoebox. I certainly won't stay here again! Plus lots of sound from the street. I don't think the windows were double pain. Wi-fi also sucked! The only thing it has going for itself is the fact that its so central.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. In spite of late hours check in was fast, room with a view of IJ river, great. Breakfast was same every morning but was good. Convenient location was great for getting around even late at night.

The positioning of this hotel is fantastic and although eight next to the station (in fact you see the trains at breakfast) we did not hear a noise day or night. The staff are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Cannot rate this hotel enough. For a decent hotel in Amsterdam this is definitely worth the money.

I expected a lot better from the Ibis brand and this was a let down. Booked a non-smoking room that smelt of smoke - on the pillows, towels, and basically everywhere. Size wise, there was little room to open my luggage nor move around without kicking into furniture and the bed. Since it is located at the train station, be...

Great staff. Great location with a 5 min. walk to the central station trains, the train to Schiphol Airport is a 20 min ride. The trains run ON TIME. Oh if u want to get train tickets from the automated kiosks u must have a credit card with a pin number or a debit card with a pin number. The...

Staying in Centrum

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
