Such a great location to museums and restaurants and shopping. Right across the street from a gorgeous park and easy walking distance to the great museums. The staff is so efficient and friendly. You will read that rooms are small which is true compared to regular hotels, but I found the room to be all that I really needed. Breakfast...

I wanted a cheap and cheerful trip and I got both. The price was the same as many places which had shared bathrooms. Everything was perfect, staff are great and are easy to contact with any questions and respond very promptly. It's obvious not as high standard as 4 and 5 star hotels but when I return later this year,...

After reading some of the reviews I was dreading the size of the room but we booked a luxury double so size was not a problem. The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. One of the best I've had in Amsterdam. There are no tea and coffee facilities in the room but they are cheap enough from...

We booked this Hotel (2 nights) for its central, quiet location, style and good price and we were not disappointed. The staff are very helpful, friendly and efficient. Our double room was on the 4th floor at the rear of the building overlooking the backs of the designer shops in the adjacent street and was quiet. There is a lift....

Lovely hotel in a great location. Museums just around the corner. Easy to get to and from the airport. The room was clean, the beds and pillows very comfortable! Staff extremely helpful and nice. Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
