This place was our saviour. We were abandoning an awful hostel and just walked into Singel Hotel and asked if they had a room. The staff was very friendly, very accomodating, and helpful with directions and reccomendations! The rooms and whole hotel are very clean...More
Lovely hotel. Very clean hotel. Linen crisp and fresh. Would say recently refurbished. Breakfast fresh and good quality. We had twin beds pushed together (common) and I honestly had the best night sleep I'd had in months (thinking of geting them at home!!)

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Sorry. And sorry for the late reply! Not as far as I know, you would need to ask direct, but train journey from Schipol to Centraal station is a piece of cake then it's literally 3 minutes on foot if that helps.

Hi Rick, the drive from the airport to Amsterdam takes around 20 minutes depending on traffic. There is also a very good train system at the airport, which takes you to Amsterdam central within half an hour and the train station is only a 5 minute walk to the Singel. I have no idea where the Viking river is sorry. Suggest you google the distance. Enjoy your saty
