Me and my boyfriend came here for a 4 night stay last week and I was actually pleasantly surprised! I've seen a few dodgy reviews and wasn't sure what to expect, but it was lovely! 12 minute ferry ride from Amsterdam centraal which runs every half an hour, the ferry ride itself is lovely and it's free which is perfect.... Stayed here for 3 nights end of November. Friendly staff. Rooms are clean. Shower/toilet area is small so small you get a sink in the ribs if you sit down. Realistically though that's no big issue. Rooms have heaters you control so no freezing/roasting. Flatscreen tv in room. Free wifi. Breakfast I didn't eat much but what I did have... More

Staff here were very helpful, stayed here with a group of girls for a weekend. you come out of the rear of the train station and get the NDSM Wharf ferry which is right outside, not like us who walked 20 mins and got on another ferry!! Ferry takes approximately 15 minutes and it is free, and runs for long... More

The Botel is basically a floating hotel .. So rooms are more of a cabin than a conventional hotel room The shower is a little small but adequate for short stay breaks We phoned a week ahead to ask for the two rooms we booked to be close together if possible and to have double beds as opposed to twin... Rooms are cosy (quite small!) but clean! Bathrooms are small but again clean and have everything you need. Views over the water are better on the Centraal station side if you're on a low floor. Breakfast is good with a variety of things to choose from. Staff are all really friendly and helpful. Bar is open till about 1am and... More

Ok. When I heard my hotel was a boat they had my attention. First the good. This is a cool boutique hotel that is actually a boat. I stayed on the lower level (very close to the water) and actually found this pretty cool. BUT it depends on the room you get. Another colleague of mine had the same level... More

Basic room but more than enough for our needs. Surprisingly comfy bed and very powerful shower. Would definitely stay here again. The staff are helpful and bar reasonably cheap. The free ferry runs every 30 minutes and takes you direct to the station so to Dam Square is only a 10 minute walk.

If you look for a place to sleep and have breacfast before your expeditions through Amsterdam's secrets , this can be a pefect place . A basic 3 stars hotel with clean rooms and good breakfast . Thank you for your review. We do have a cigarette machine on the first floor and a vending machine on the 3rd floor with Candy, snacks, water and other soda drinks in it. In 5 minutes you walk to a supermarket that will have enough assortiment to choose from. We hope to welcome you back on board in the future. More

“We had rooms on top deck (fourth floor) which had best views. Would not like the ones down near the water! Small bathroom/shower had high door step to room, again a nautical thing! Stairs on ship were very very steep! (Not like the Grand Staircase on the Titanic). But there was a (busy) Lift if you preferred to wait. The Bar was simple, bright and cheerful with good value drinks and snacks. Breakfast could be very crowded at peak times.”
