The boat itself was great although the bathrooms were quite tiny but if when you remember it's only somewhere to sleep it's ok. What I object to is the workmen on the roof dropping lumps of iron making the whole room shake at 8 o'clock in the morning. We should have been told works were happening and given a lower...

Stayed with my GF for three nights last week, it's a boat, with ships cabins, cant see why people moan, you knew what you were booking before you went!! All in all, a decent stay, room size was o.k, small shower and toilet, but, remember where you are :-) Breakfast was pretty good considering the length of time it is...

Got home yesterday after 3 nights at the botel. Rooms are very basic and small. You can hear EVERYTHING that's going on in the rooms next door. Breakfast was a disaster. First morning there was nowhere to sit and no hot food other than boiled eggs. After waiting 10 minutes for a plate and still no hot food we gave...

Have stayed at the botel 6 times in season and out of season and every time it's been a magical experience. We love Amsterdam and the botel is the best central place to stay. Rooms both on the land side and the sea side are comfortable clean and relaxing. I would recommend this highly rated botel to any one.

the botel is decent for what you pay for.. be prepared to travel to the main city as you have to get a ferry and taxi which is inconvenient. I was not expecting great service but at the bare minimum just politeness and helpfulness. Every staff member I encountered from manager to receptionist to bar staff were terribly rude left...

We stayed in the Amstel Botel in Amsterdam just one night but we enjoyed our experience. Warm welcome in the reception. They offer free shuttle bus from the botel to the Amsterdam Central Station which is very handy. The room was not big but clean and tidy and you can find everything you need in it. Very nice view from...

My last visit to Amsterdam was 33years ago and it was a Suprise to see how advanced the city had become. The trams, rail network was outstanding the airport was quick and efficient. We stayed at this hotel. On arrival it looked clean and the bed was very comfortable. We recently came back from a Caribbean cruise and the cabin...

This is a great place to stay, and I am a pensioner! I booked single occupancy of a twin room. Interesting view across the river to the industrial lights at night. Breakfast (included) is bacon, sausages, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, orange juice, cheese, ham, various types of bread and coffee. The room had a small shower with plenty of hot...

Having just returned from a long weekend in Amsterdam we stayed at the Amstel Botel, having read some of the reviews before going I was a bit concerned. But that was as far as it went, on arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady, our room was small but you have to remember this is a boat. All...
