PERFECT location and a real family atmosphere. When I was last there, the owner went out of his way to help me and make me feel at...

If personal hygiene is of any importance to you, do not stay at this place. I booked a Twin room for me and a friend. We were shown to our room but there was only one bed. I explained that we booked a twin room and their response was, "Oh, ok one minute please". A minute later someone dragged a...

Our family and a group of friends stayed in this apartment. The location was great. Right in the heart of the city, walking distance to most things. We had an apartment on the 1st floor (not ground floor), and it was okay. The living room area had a futon bed, and the bedroom had a ful-size bed with two twin...

We had the large room on the second floor of GL and thought it was great. Much more like being in a home than a normal hotel. The room had a large front room looking over the canal with a futon bed and a second large bedroom with another futon. Recommend for coffee shop lovers, young travelers and travelers young...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our Canal House is located in the heart of Amsterdam on the Keizersgracht canal, just blocks away from Rembrandtplein. As travellers ourselves, we have decided to open our house to like-minded people looking for an alternative to the traditional Hotel and B&B. We try to provide a more personal and local experience by creating a home away from home. Our canal house is divided into self contained private apartments, along with some double and single rooms, both with and without en-suites.
