If you ever stay with your sister and want your own space and your own bed and your own tv and your own window overlooking the canal and you do not mind. "small and compact" then keep this secret place to yourself. My friend stayed in a single room and again it was "small and compact" . You get what...

For a hotel in Amsterdam the price was great. Hotel was just outside the craziness that is the busy streets of Amsterdam. Still walking distance to most places, but the street was quite. Hotel had a nice size room, and we had a view of the canal which was nice. I would recommend this hotel for the backpack traveler or...

The family room was a bungalow in the courtyard of the hotel. Quietly located, we could see the rear of all the terraces from our accommodation and walk everywhere. Staff were very efficient and friendly, and the location was great for walking to Rijksmuseum, 20 minutes to Anne Frank House and a quick walk to the tram to get back...

The Hampshire is located on the canals of Amsterdam, it's a 20 minute walk to the Red Centre, or a 10 minute walk to the boat cruise companies for a boat cruise around the waterways. Our room was a sauna until the fantastic night manager came up and showed me how to open the windows. The only problem is the...

This was a gem of a hotel! Nice, quiet street and not far from a main street for catching the train or for more restaurant selections. The hotel has a bike rack out front and even has bike rentals, although I had already rented from another place before arriving at the hotel . My room faced the canal which was...

Great Hotel, ideal location for us close to the centre but away from the real hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms were nice and clean. Be aware you only get pods/capsules for the coffee making facilities for your first night. Subsequent pods/capsules are charged at €1 each.

Thank Tim S
