nice location, pleasant reception. room basic, clean but quiet.
downside, is very narrow stairs, which means mind your head and an effort lugging up suitcase when going upstairs.

We have just returned fro 4 night stay atHotel Hegra ,the central position is excellent .We did not use the breakfast option . Room was basic but comfortable ,my only concern was the stairs they are very steep so not for the faint hearted !!...More
I ended up spending 10 days here. Ideal location. Just about all of central Amsterdam is within easy walking distance or within a short distance to a tram or train stop.
The rooms are rather small as you would expect in Amsterdam, but immaculately clean....More
