I booked a four-bed room for my husband and I and our two adult children as we knew we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. It was cramped but we were expecting that so it didn't cause a problem. Hotel was really quaint, old style, typical Dutch architecture. Really narrow, steep staircase but once again, didn't cause a...

Clean well equipped rooms and a great location. We rented lovely bikes from the hotel for €10 per day. Owners Bart and Paolo were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay at hotel Hegra again.....

My family spent four nights at this hotel and we liked it a lot. We're a family of 4 and we stayed on the top floor in a quad room. The location is phenomenal and we fell in love with Amsterdaam exploring it from our safe and comfortable home base in the Hotel Hegra. I think it is important to...

Very convenient location on a canal, clean and friendly, but definitely not recommended for seniors or those with mobility problems. We were on the top floor, very narrow and steep stairs, which for me was a major problem at age 75. I was okay climbing, but when descending I was scared of having a dizzy turn. Once down at street...

Four of us stayed here for 3 nights and we absolutely loved it! The people who worked there were so friendly, relaxed and very helpful. Our room was nice and the en suite bathroom was good. The location is great - easy to find your way around and it is close to several shops including a supermarket and many restaurants....

Stayed here for 5 nights in Room 9 overlooking the rear of hotel. Room was very narrow with no wardrobe or drawer space but hanging rail for shorter clothes. The cleanliness and standard of decoration was very good and the toilet/shower room had been well refurbished with very good shower. The bed was very comfortable, but little space either side...

This is the second time I have visited Amsterdam and both times I have stayed at Hegra Hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I come. The hotel is perfect for a group of friends visiting Amsterdam - stayed as part of a group of 4 and great being able to have a room which sleeps all. Great...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and can't fault this small budget hotel. Location was perfect for exploring the center and close to the Jordaan area, we also walked to Museumplein which was only 20min away. Rooms were clean and cosy. Wifi was fast and worked perfectly. Excellent value hotel! We would highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate...

this is a real attraction. This small house hotel is placed in the middle of town and its a beauty. Small cosy rooms and a wonderful service of the people running it. Fresh pressed juice for breakfast and loving service. Friendly shiny happy people....run and buy.
