This hotel is fine. If we could give it 3½ stars we would. It is located some way out of the centre in a pleasant residential area and is on a tram route. It's close to the Vondelpark that offers an alternative and pleasant way...More
On the positive side. the hotel room was clean. However, the negatives prevail. Far to walk or the need to take a tram to the center. Overpriced for what it is (140 Eur plus city tax without breakfast). Noisy room facing the street. Very poor...More
The place is nothing to much, it's pretty simple, and the location is not on the city centre. But... It's close enough of the center and you can easily get the tram on the stations nearby.

Celebrated our 25th anniversary in Amsterdam and my husband booked this hotel with a request for flowers to greet me in our room. The Hotel staff were lovely and did all they could to make our stay the special occasion that it was. They added...More

Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
