Room was clean, great value for the price. Hot shower, wi-fi and electricity were all working well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay. Location was also great, only a 5-10 minute walk from station and city centre.

So I saw a review called 'Bob's youth hell'. I'm sorry but for £11 a night this place is perfect. If you are booking at that price you know what to expect. There was no mice and there was hot water. Stayed here for 3 nights with a group of students and we stayed in a 6 bed private room,...

Cheap hostel for young people. Everything is dirty, but the staff is really nice :) I could not sleep very well, but it is normal because I was sharing my room with 12 people. I am not going to come back, I am sorry!

From the moment you enter the hostel it looks shady. From the steep and narrow stairs to unmanaged rooms, very small bathrooms that needs a lot of maintenance. The light stopped working in the midnight, dirty mattress and pillow cover.

they bumped the price seeing the situation(40.EUROES for a single bed in shared room on a saturday evening). on top of it the staff is so rude; due to the fact that they have higher demand than supply i guess. very unclean and suffocating place, stairs are too difficult and pain.

I stayed at Bob's for 2 nights. I was supposed to be there for 3, but I missed my bus from Berlin to Amsterdam. When I emailed the hostel to inform them I would be arriving later (during the very inconvenient time they are closed 3am-8am). There was no reply. So I arrived at 6am, and had to wait outside...

Me and my mate stayed here for 4 days. We had the 6 person room which was on the 3rd floor. The stairs are very narrow and steep. It's shared toilet between about 15 people and it can be quite uncomfortable. There are better hostels out there for a similar price. The only advantage is the good central location. Only...

Decent place to stay even if you book a room and get there time they say still have to wait a few hours to actually get access to your room, offer a place to leave your bag but definitely will get lost as get another 50 bags on top of your, bunk bed is sleeping arrangement, lounge area is good...

Well, I forgot about the fact that our room didn't have any light for 24 hours and we couldn't charge any of our phones and we had to be all they without battery... the place is ok. But the light situation was a crime, because we paid quite a lot between deposit, %, blablabla... was really expensive at the end...

Was here for almost 3 days, was warm and staff was friendly. Stayed in an 8 people sharing room with my brother. People were nice and respectful. There's a locker for each bed. You can "rent" a lock for 10 which will be returned to you at the end of your stay when you give the lock and keys back.

Thank Giselle V
