This hotel is easily the worst i've ever been to. Our room? No bin, Sink clearly didn't fit in the minuscule bathroom so was next to the beds. Room was dirty, bathroom was shockingly bad. Worst of all? No hot water. Unbelievable. Hallways filled with clutter, towels and bedsheets etc. Throughout 3 day stay no cleaning of rooms and no...

OK let's keep it short but sweet. Don't be fooled by the pictures, these are of the Chinese restaurant next door that just so happens to be were you have breakfast (the hotel does not look like this far from it.) Breakfast was awful, who has soup for breakfast? The stairs are extremely steep the smells are obnoxious. I actually...

When We were at the airport we started to read some reviews and we feel disappointed but when we arrived I friendly guy was there and he was really charming. The room could be a few small for eight but for us it isn't a big problem. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the bed sheets and towels...

Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. I will not complain about the size of the room but the sheets and duvets were so dirty and the pillows had hair on them. The place stank and there were trash on the corridors. My fiance took rashes on the body because of the sheets. Do not stay here. it is horrible.

Me and my friends had 2 rooms in which we found bed bugs in both. We found them in the beds, bathroom, and on the window. We had to leave the hotel and Amsterdam at 4am because we were so grossed out!!!

I've been for few times in Amsterdam, but I never found an hotel worse then this one! Shower was dirty and the water cannot go away! The bed clothing was indescribable and smelling bad! The hotel staff excluding the indian girl into reception was terrible and unfriendly! They after 1 day let us to change a room but the last...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The second we got there the person at the front desk was rude. We had to take a horrible elevator to get upstairs with our luggage. The hallways were littered with trash and cleaning supplies and we could barely walk through...

If you are looking for an overnight stay with reasonable rate (not exactly cheap), this may be you are looking for. We have arrived about 30 minutes earlier, there was a woman in a reception with strong make-up and constantly on her iPhone FaceTime with someone else instead of the customers. We were hoping if we could check-in a bit...

The room was very small, bathroom is dirty, also room was not clean enough. Only the location is good, you don't need to use bus or trams, everything is near. The best thing was breakfast (if you get up early ofcourse:))

Staying in Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)

Neighbourhood Profile
Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark, the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping destinations of PC Hooftstraat, Van Baerlestraat, Cornelis Schuytstraat, and Jacob Obrechtstraat, where even the shop window displays are of museum quality. In the evenings, when the museums close and the daytrippers head home, the area becomes a quiet oasis of calm with a sophisticated and urbane tone.
