Stayed at this boutique hotel in the Jaardaan area of Amsterdam after Christmas. Was a find. Though rooms are tight, the people are friendly and very helpful and it rests in the middle of a residential area of the city. It is easy to walk...More
We stayed for 3 nights for my birthday. The decor and building is lovely, the staff very helpful and on reception for 24 hours.

Nice little hotel at walking distance from the pulse of the city. Small rooms with nice beds, good view over the canals. Nicely decorated rooms and revived a little goodie bag at my checkout - plus points!
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
